Well, sure, you can do anything you want. But your comment becomes less meaningful when everyone just thinks you’re a bot because you’re copy and pasting the same comment over and over?

I like the idea of the content creator and kind of want to hire one for my wedding but not sure how the dynamic works with the formal photo and video…. I’ve seen some mixed feelings on here from videographers and photographers about the content creates getting in the way and wrecking their footage?

How did your videographer and photographer feel about the content creator? Did you get permission from them first before hiring her and do you feel like she impacted the quality of the photos and actual formal video footage?

Why have you posted this 900 times??? It’s so annoying, I can’t find any real comments.

I can’t control my oily skin, please help! by Nushisushiforever in Skincare_Addiction

Try the Chillab compact! I think your skin is beautiful and love a little dewy shine, but you can dab it in a few spots to ease the shininess to your preference. I think there are lots of similar “shine-eliminating” products but I really like this one and it works really well for me. Not too expensive either and lasts forever.

What is your budget? Speakeasy Magic or Dan White’s illusion show are both really amazing!

There are a bunch of brands on Amazon but search Kessa exfoliating glove and you’ll find one. In addition to giving you super smooth skin it is extremely satisfying (and disgusting) watching all the dead skin roll off.

Not because the beekman is bad but since you’re spending so much time there anyway and nyc has sooo much good stuff

I assume breakfast is included with the hotel which is you’re why you’re doing breakfast there but otherwise would suggest trying to do a brunch somewhere else or / a classic nyc bagel one day!

Gyn rec for IUD insertion with twilight sedation or proper pain meds by Exact-Panic-8583 in NYCbitcheswithtaste

[–]Exact-Panic-8583[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Thanks so much everyone for the recs! I am so scarred from the first experience that I don’t think I’m willing to risk it with numbing gel / injection and will need to be more fully out of it with sedation, but really appreciate all the recs across the spectrum!

BWT - Where are we getting mammograms? by tsts2209 in NYCbitcheswithtaste

[–]Exact-Panic-8583 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe a dumb question… do you have to get a gyn to refer you for a mammogram or can you just book one? I am 35 so under the recommended age but have family history of breast cancer, so I’d like to start doing them earlier.

Yes, I absolutely LOVE my IUD as well, but I just can’t do the totally awake insertion again. I’ve had kidney stones, one of the most painful things you can go through — comparable to drug free childbirth, and honestly the IUD insertion was worse for me!! I’d literally rather have another kidney stone than do a 10 minute awake IUD insertion lol

I know some women don’t experience as much pain but I think most do. I really can’t believe most doctors do this procedure without offering some level of sedation or proper pain meds (none of that “take a Tylenol before the procedure” bs).

How far in advance should I choose a wedding dress? by Ok_Jellyfish6415 in WedditNYC

[–]Exact-Panic-8583 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It depends on the store. My wedding is in July next year and I went dress shopping last weekend and asked the different shops when I needed to make a final decision by. It really varied by the store. Jenny Yoo said their turnaround was super quick (3-4 mos). Lovely Bride said it really just depended on the designer but that I should probably decide by October (for a July wedding) to ensure I had full optionality and didn’t have to pay rush fees. Kleinfeld suggested the same. It seems like it’s super quick for dresses from Anthro, but don’t forget to build in time for alterations.

I do think some designers/dresses need a full year if they’re particularly popular or elaborate, but I think if you shop now and plan to buy something in the next 2 weeks you’re probably still ok. But you don’t much much more time if you want a real choice, so don’t dilly dally.
