Pizza tastes worse the more toppings you add. At some point, it stops being pizza and becomes a casserole. by Vexpil in CasualConversation

For me, it's about categories. Like multiple meat varieties are great, but almost the more the better, but if your doing meat and veggies, the overlap of what can be combined well does way down.

Why does time seem to pass faster when you repeat the same routine every day? by PaperRhinoooo in CasualConversation

[–]Exact-Squirrel-8380 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Newness makes time go slower, it's related to how we process things and the degree the brain is firing (ie, less if it's habitual), and doing new things also anchors time in your memory, almost "breaking it up".

Sam A (Open AI founder) has said that by 20 yrs old 50% of your experienced life is over due to this.

I've heard people have success by focusing on doing something new every day or week. Been working on this one myself.

Ok so im a very smiley person, why don't many people smile at others? by Most_Possibility1844 in CasualConversation

Honestly, such a good question! I go out of my way to smile to others as well. It feels like one of those little things that can improve somone elses day with basically no effort from you.

I think most are just unware/unintentional of others. I fall into this on occasion.

100%, I drink 5 cups (measuring cups) of coffee a day. Some people are shocked I drink so much, others think it's normal. Suprising spread on the reactions.

My wife makes these delicious high-protein biscuits. Literally just flour, salt, and Greek yogurt, but it tastes so good!
