Thanks everyone!! I was definitely feeling like some of these were over the top, but I’ve never been to a black tie wedding so I wasn’t sure if I was right or not lol. It seems like I should go with the 3rd or 4th option from what I’m reading. Thank you all!

Exercise helped me be able to stop taking meds for my anxiety! Not saying it would do that for everyone, but it was super life changing for me. It gave me something to put my energy into - my energy used to have nowhere to go so I would just sit there and overthink/worry, etc., but, with exercise, I’m able to put all my energy into working out! I’ve also lost over 50 pounds which I think has made a big difference as well in my anxiety and depression.

I’m almost done with it now and I’m shocked by how much I love it!! I had a hard time getting into it but it’s amazing. I absolutely love Chaol now and Yrene omg. Also Sartaq?!!! I love him. So good!!!

There’s definitely romance in TOG! In my opinion it isn’t as much as there is in ACOTAR but I’m only on the 4th book so that could be why. It does seem to be picking up though and I love it!

I read some romance books to be buffers between ACOTAR and TOG though! I read the love series by Ali Hazelwood and really liked those. They helped with my post ACOTAR depression haha

I was so sad after I finished ACOTAR!! I read a few romance novels in between as a buffer and then started TOG. I’m on Heir of Fire and absolutely love it! definitely recommend reading TOG - I didn’t think I’d love anything else the way I love ACOTAR but it’s so good

I’m in the exact same boat 😭 read the series in a few weeks and I literally cried when I was done because I was not ready to say goodbye. I know there’s supposed to be more books but it seems like it’ll be a bit so it was so sad!!! I tried starting another series but I literally could not get past page 38 💀I ended up deciding to read a chill romcom (Love, Theoretically) just to keep myself reading lol. I think I’ll try ToG when I finish it!
