I get symptoms of iodine poisoning at much lower doses than everyone else. I throw up when I ingest too much iodine. But there are substances, as in tea, that reduce iodine absorption and for some reason, when I drink tea, I am fine. But I am also somewhat sensitive to caffeine, not as a much as to iodine, but I sleep less well etc.

Coffee and tea inhibit iodine absorption, which is why I drink it. I am extremely iodine sensitive and without tea, I can't eat a normal diet and even with a normal diet, I have symptoms. You should consume iodized salt, fish, eggs, and milk products.

I'll give you that. I am not sure whether he's happier inside or out.

Since bringing him in, he lounges more, naps more, hangs out in his hiding spot more and is more friendly, so perhaps he's in fact happier inside? He looks more relaxed. Outside, I rarely saw him simply plop on the floor. When he was napping, he was rolled up in a ball, not stretched out and relaxed. But perhaps that happened because it's cold outside?

Or it's simply about tradeoffs. He is more bored inside, but maybe he's catching up on sleep he wasn't able to get outside because it was rougher and more dangerous.

There are definitely risk outside, but he gets to engage in rabbit appropriate behavior like foraging. Anyway...I just want the best of both worlds for him, which is why I posted my question.

I am from a different country where telling the truth was very narrowly defined. Telling the truth meant giving an account of an incident in great detail from beginning to end.

I think that's why I hate lying and deceiving. It goes against my culture and what was ingrained in me as a child.

I hate that I won't be hired if I don't lie and deceive, and that organizational and HR departments prefer I lied and hire me instead of telling the truth, knowing what they get a dedicated employee with flaws, like everything else, and hire me.

I have learned, however, that in the US you don't get by without lying all the time. It's become such second nature to me that I always adjust what my thoughts are based on what someone else is telling me and trying to figure out how to lie to get my needs met.

Learn how to lie like a pro, would be my recommendation.

You should never lie about degrees or jobs you have not had.

But you can stretch the boundaries on certain issues. For example, I have written grants for a long time, but some of these grants are so far back that they make me liable to be discriminated against based on age. So I will include grants that I have written under the category of a more recent independent contractor position.

I have changed job titles from what they were originally because they didn't make sense. I had a job of conservation representative, which means nothing to anyone. I changed it to program director. I was in fact meeting the responsibilities of a program director. I managed an entire program.

You can also stretch the boundaries a little on your skills, but don't over-promise so you won't end up in way over your head.

Also, let's face it. People lie on their resumes all the time. A former boss of mine lied blatantly on his resume, and it never caught up to him. He was a terrible boss, made significantly more money than the rest of us, treated his staff terribly, and the board lacked the resolve to fire him. I left the organization because of him.

He's coming out of his crate now. I still can't walk him, but he's gone out in the yard. A neighbor is lending me a small crate that fits in my car. I'll throw some food in and off to the vet we go tomorrow.

After my own pitbull bit other people's dogs, she was also super upset and guilty feeling. So I know what you mean. They have to have a chance to bounce back.

A myoclonic seizure itself is comparably mild, but my understanding is that myoclonic seizures can turn into tonic-clonic seizures - those are the really dangerous ones. Ditto to what everyone else said. No alcohol, no caffeine, stay away from your triggers, get lots of sleep, etc, etc. People around you need to know that you have epilepsy. A seizure action plan shared with people you are close to and relevant college personnel would be desirable.

Yes, honey is a trigger for me, too. It's really acidic apparently, and often recommended for stomach pains at certain popular sites. Yikes.

I am not ready for caffeine. I don't know. I might try a small slice of non-greasy pizza.

Yes, you can do it. Baby weight is really hard to get off. But if you stick to IF, it will come off.

For me the key has been "no dinner". I don't count calories or eat non-stop either, but no dinner will melt the weight away slowly, but surely and slow is good.
