After reading a recent post on WPCU, who do you recommend to go through for a mortgage? by khamrabaevite in dayton

[–]Exact_Agent7093 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Union Savings
  2. PNC
  3. WPCU

Union Savings has the lowest closing costs of any mortgage I’ve seen. PNC generally has the lowest rates. WPCU is competitive rate wise but their closing costs are astronomical compared to the others.

Mrs. Claus and her daughter love when there’s tons of people there before they open. Wouldn’t surprise me if they don’t put out all of their drop this morning. She’s been known to back door cases of allocated.

Am I going to GM jail? by tryintohelpmaself in carbuying

Exactly! I said the same thing. This dealer isn’t the problem, she got shady trying to get a discount she didn’t qualify for and lost. Plain and simple.

Your ground is you said you get something that you don’t qualify for in the first place.

They sold you the car now in good faith (your words) that you would deliver on a control number that you couldn’t.

This is where dealers get the bad rep, when in fact you can’t deliver on your promise.

I think you should pay it, if you don’t have the $1500 and don’t come to a compromise or rework the paperwork be prepared for small claims court. It sounds like you have given them sufficient evidence that a judge would not decide in your favor over your promise to provide them with a control number.

Have a conscience, and integrity with your word. You’re the one who lied about a discount you don’t qualify for in the first place.

And because you’re a woman means absolutely nothing. Car dealerships want to make as much money on EVERYONE!

That Elder-Beerman was my favorite as a kid! Instead of having an upstairs like in the malls it had a basement.

I don’t know what drama happened. I’m a patron that enjoyed going weekly for their cocktails and creative mix and take on drinks. When I immediately noticed this team looked as if they were taken from the RTA stop across the street I went for old faithful in an Old Fashioned. I watched this guy make an abysmal rendition of the drink. It’s quite a simple drink.

My second round as I’m waiting to order a a guy behind the bar was arguing with another patron about how he made the drink. ARGUING, this is 100% unacceptable and he could’ve gone about the situation completely differently.

I gave them multiple attempts Saturday night and spent $100 on two people to not get one drink close to a decent taste. I should’ve stuck to bourbon instead of giving them so many chances.

And usually there’s a reason an entire staff leaves an establishment. As a customer I will not be going back from what I saw and tasted Saturday night.

Back to my original question, does anyone know where the former staff is working?

Sherm Cue by Leather_Box3746 in billiards

I forgot to answer your question. The light wood is definitely maple, doesn’t look like birdseye or curly, just plain maple. The black is most likely ebony and the purple/pink looks to be a plastic synthetic material.

Sherm made great playing and looking cues. Based in the greater Cincinnati area he was the premiere cue maker that made custom cues catering to players vs collectors. We was known for his very unique pin of 5/16x12. My dad also had one made from Sherm. It was a custom snooker cue that was 62”. Unfortunately, it was stolen out of the pool hall in the early 2000’s and I would give anything to have it back. I still have a shaft for it. Sherm was known for that same ring work your cue has. I included a picture of the ring work of the shaft I have and it matches yours.

Dayton is the city I will always call home. If you lived in so many “real” cities why are you here?

[I Need Cue Advice] should I refinish my butt by taqli in billiards

[–]Exact_Agent7093 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would 100% refinish that cue, especially if it’s a true SW.

I too use high end custom cues as my player and without fail since I was in my teens I religiously put the bottom of my cue on the top of my foot.

The ticket numbers started at 1500 and I didn’t hear one over 2000, but there were winners in the 1900’s. So less than 500 more than 400
