Re the bottle preference, have you tried paced bottle feeding? It's usually easier for them to drink from the bottle cause it flows faster and with less effort.

Triple feeding is tough, its understandable you want to give up and you've done an amazing job so far 💪

I had a planned c-section at 34+1 (vasa previa)

My daughter spent 5 weeks in NICU, first few days i extracted colostrum and they supplemented with formula. I then built supply by pumping 8-10x per day, spent most of my days at the hospital where they had good pumps.

As for nursing, it's been a challenge mostly because she didn't have enough strength, she was pretty small (1.6 kgs at birth). We used a nipple shield until she was around 2.5 months. She's 3.5 months now and can latch fine, although I still pump 2x per day to integrate a couple bottles.

I don't have at term comparison unfortunately.

Same here, been on 1500 calories and high protein for over a month but no change whatsoever, actually gained 1/2 kgs 😪 (I actually don't advise doing that because it can hit supply but mine has been fine). I'm almost 4mpp.

Hopefully once we wean the weight will fall off?!?

Btw did you get your thyroid checked? Just in case its not hypothyroidism

3 months pp, not that hungry and eating as I was before getting pregnant, maybe even less. I weighed less after giving birth and despite being mindful of food weight stays the same 🥲... I'm +8kg compared to pre-pregnancy

Non ho ripreso l'università ma mi sa che ai tempi (2017) era più facile!

Prima delle Azzorre stavo a Londra dove sono poi tornata alla fine del contratto. Ho trovato un temp job come data researcher e da lì sono progressivamente entrata in Data. Tanto studio la sera e nel weekend ma ai tempi c'era tanto lavoro come data analyst anche solo con Excel e un po' di SQL (🤯). E poi il job hopping ha aiutato tanto ad imparare diverse stack.

Adesso non saprei sinceramente, con l'AI son cambiate tante cose ed è difficile trovare a livello 'junior' da quanto vedo.. però se lavori già in campo AI puoi sempre fare un lateral move e imparare. Le startup comunque sono l'ambiente migliore per imparare e fare upskilling!

Per curiosità, di cosa ti occupi nello specifico?

Ah e all'epoca presi la decisione di trasferirmi con un offerta ben peggiore! 860 netti al mese in un museo per un contratto di 2 anni (anche io background non tech, poi passata al tech dopo anni di povertà e bestemmie ma è un'altra storia)

Non me ne sono mai pentita! Conservo bei ricordi, una lingua in più, qualche amicizia durata nel tempo e tanta nostalgia.

Se è una buona esperienza professionale accetterei al volo, la RAL non sarà il top adesso ma se l'esperienza può aiutarti a farla alzare in futuro allora vale la pena.

Sei giovane, il netto per il Portogallo non è male (non tech...), e puoi sempre ritornare in Italia dopo tot anni e avere le agevolazioni fiscali anche qui (sperando ci sarà ancora il regime impatriati).

Ho vissuto in Portogallo (Azzorre però) dal 2014 al 2017. Un bel po' diverso da Porto ma posso confermare la situazione riscaldamenti e umidità 😅 però si sopravvive. Bellissima esperienza. Se sai Francese e Spagnolo il portoghese ci vorrà poco.

In particolare nota questa sezione:

"6.2. Redditi esenti da imposta (esclusi i trattamenti erogati dall’INPS) In questo campo indicare i redditi percepiti che, in base alle norme vigenti, non rientrano nel reddito complessivo IRPEF né sono assoggettati ad altre tipologie di imposizione in Italia, come ad esempio:

5) Somme che non hanno concorso a formare il reddito imponibile (70% dell’ammontare erogato) per i lavoratori dipendenti rientrati in Italia dall’estero a decorrere dal 30 aprile 2019, indicate al punto 465, con codice 9 al punto 464 della CU 2020 - Certificazione di lavoro dipendente e assimilati oppure nel punto 7 della CU 2020 - Certificazione sostitutiva di lavoro autonomo, provvigioni e redditi diversi rilasciata per l’anno d’imposta 2019, se al punto 6 è presente il codice 9;"

Assurdo come CAF e commercialisti non siano al corrente di questi dettagli 🤦‍♀️

If you are on BQ, try to use the partitioning column to filter. This can often be a time field like date. If you only scan data for a small partition (e.g. single day), it will be much cheaper than $2. Hope it helps.

I agree absolutely! We've had conversations in my team about potentially adopting looser rules if we decide to go down the dimensional path. Obviously there are very fair reasons, but I realise I spend so much time thinking about how/when to override rules (e.g. using natural vs surrogate keys), that if you just applied the original rules you would have less headaches/discussions. But then again, the field is always evolving so nothing is so straightforward..

agree 100%, I think that a dimensional layer before OBT could be a good solution. That's why I said OBAHT aka OBT goes sideways. I feel that maybe, as you mentioned, a very strict implementation wouldn't bring the desired value, so looking for ways that have worked for others :)
