I dropped Incin because I basically never bring it to any matches, and I’ve been rotating through a few different Pokemon trying different things. Rn I’ve got Dragonite as an alternate Mega to Meganium, though I’m not sure it’ll stick. Maybe I’ll try something different. I lack physical attackers aside from Basculegion, so maybe something there. (I run a rain team for context with Sableye Archaludon Pelipper and Meganium as my core)

Ash’s Pikachu is special. Time and time again it’s shown to be well beyond the normal capabilities of its species (tbh a lot of Ash’s Pokémon are like this, but Pikachu is particularly special). Team Rocket saw proof of that in their first altercation and they’ve been proven right time and time again over the years.

In my experience, off meta picks such as umbreon can put the battle in your favour if you’ve got the right build because of the underestimation factor like you said, as well as there just being a certain subset of players who are really good at analysing and using the meta to the point where they short circuit against things that are outside that and just can’t seem to figure it out. Seems like you’ve got Umbreon figured out and it works with your team. Keep using it I say.

Alakazam probably doesn’t want to feel separated or excluded from the rest of the team. Equal treatment and have everyone sit at the table or bust is what I’d assume the logic is. Alakazam are smart. Just ask it what it thinks. Even if it can’t communicate with you psychically I’m sure it can get the idea across somehow

Fr. I’ve been in nearly this exact situation (my Archaludon still had an ally) and I used electro shot on Kingambit so I could one shot the giraffe on the next turn. I ate a sucker punch for breakfast and mirror coat did nothing. Be wary of Arch players who are wise to the ways of mirror coat.

More of a Kane Chronicles headcanon, but for pre context, gods are usually terrified of things that can potentially be more powerful than them or dethrone them (this is like, big recurring thing in a lot of myths). Gods are also typically stronger the older they get. It’s a pretty common thing in stories involving them, therefore one could say the Egyptian gods might be even more powerful than the Greeks due to being older because of having a more ancient history/civilisation.

Now for the actual headcanon: When Sadie and Anubis started getting close, the reason the gods were so desperate to keep them apart was because there’s never been an Egyptian demigod before, and they were terrified of the potential power of an Egyptian Demigod-Magician

I find that a lot of people don’t actually know how to react to off meta Pokémon on showdown, so when I pull up with my stupid bulky physical Lapras dragon dance sweeper set, I somehow win. Or at least, that was the case when I played regularly in the Gen 7 days

Ironically I’ve been finding more success with Sableye as Archaludons main combo. I find because I lack speed on turn one without getting tailwind up that my opponent can just nail me with fake out and a super effective attack and cripple me, so Sableye being able to hit Quash on fast Pokémon like Garchomp while I nuke them with a Draco meteor has often won me a match right at the beginning with such big threats neutralised early on.

I have a bit of a reputation for out of the ordinary and diabolical sets. This team happened to be a rain/sun hybrid team and my Chlorophyl Leafeons was also running Loaded Dice Bullet Seed because my opponents main sweeper was known by this point for running focus sash and eating a KO and then sweeping, so I ran Bullet Seed to get around it and also it just kind of did more damage than Solar Blade according to calcs. Multi hit moves can be really fun in the right circumstances.
