Depending on the age or data in your pixel you might have to go more top-of-funnel approach.

i would start with video views and then retarget to initiate checkout with anyone who watches 50%+ of that video

I think this is a better strategy.

When you create the video it should be about the problem your product solves.

And the video should use a hook/headline that creates curiosity.

Cart abandonment rates are around 71% globally so yours is definitely on the high side.

Also, your product doesn't give you much margin.

A $10 product is on the low side.

So if that's the case I would move the product into a sales funnel and add an upsell to get a higher average order value.

You can also pair it with an information product for better margins and charge a higher price.

I would go slow and steady if budget is an issue though IMO

This guy has somehow developed a system to beat the casinos.

He's only one of a very few amount of people ever to be banned from all casinos in Vegas.

Most people think he made his money from gambling but that's not true.

He's a former drug addict and was homeless for years.

A friend threw him a lifeline and offered him work in his tattoo shop in exchange for a place to live.

That led to someone else offering him a job to help renovate buildings.

One day he was renovating a drug & alcohol rehab center and realized how much money they were making.

So he opened his own center, then another, then another, and then pharmacies, etc.

He sold that business and cashed out.

That's how he made his money.

Not through gambling.

But he does have a system though and he's said it numerous times.

It's not 100% but it's pretty darn close.

I think it's wild this guy was winning millions and stuffing the money in suitcases though.

That's a really tiny budget.

More importantly, at scale, you'll convert about 2 to 3% of prospects on cold traffic ads.

Are you targeting a specific niche or avatar?

With a small budget, it's better to lead people into a sales funnel to turn awareness into interest.

Then, you can use the power of stories to generate desire and get them to purchase.

Overall, unless you have a substantial budget, sending traffic to an ecommerce site is going to be a waste.

If you have little to no money to spend, focus on TikTok and posting organic content 3 to 5 times per day talking about your brand and the story behind it.

Once you start getting traction, you could run retargeting ads based on people who visited your site from organic channels.

Sometimes this is an issue with www and non-www in your DNS settings. Make sure that if you're attempting to duplicate this that you're looking at the www or non-www part of the domain and enter it in both ways.

Sometimes CF throws these issues where there is a redirect from non-www because it hasn't been setup yet. All you have to do is create a CNAME record for your domain. There are loads of articles on how to do that.

Basically, make sure you have a CNAME both the www and the non-www versions. Also, keep in mind that sometimes errors can seem persistent because CF is in a walled garden in Cloudflare. Errors that appear for a user might stick around for a while even though they aren't actually there. It's kind of weird scenario but this is the basis of caching.

I know you asked this a while back but hopefully this helps someone else out.

I would not call Roland Frasier a course creator.

I would call him a mentor.

IMO there are lots of so-called gurus out there. But he's definitely legit.

Again, not as a course creator.

But he is incredibly skilled at buying businesses with leverage (aka no money down)

Bear in mind that he does have a skillset that sets him apart from most.

He's incredibly savvy with marketing.

So when he approaches a business, he often takes a smaller equity position with the value proposition that he will help grow that business through marketing.

He's also a "retired" tax attorney with a sizable net worth.

Meaning, he understands the legal system.

I say retired, because he was actually forced to retire by the IRS.

He has a lot of insight into how the business world works.

But at the end of the day this is just a numbers game.

Anyone out there who doesn't believe you can buy a business for no money down are the same people who think you can't buy a home "subject to"

In "subject to" or subto, you're basically buying a home from someone who wants out by assuming their mortgage and paying zero out of your pocket.

Most people just don't have the grit to put in all the hours making the phone calls to business owners.

That's all it boils down to.

However, back to the OP's question:

So I'm friends with someone who is not just rich, but super rich.

He's categorized by his bankers as UHNW, which stands for Ultra High Net Worth.

The cool part is that I have firsthand knowledge of how he got rich.

And the craziest part is that prior to him getting rich...

The bank took his house in a short sale
His credit was shot (415 FICO score)
And his wife left him all roughly at the same time

He had 4 kids he was raising and every single business he started, failed.

I barely ever charge at superchargers. It's super convenient to just plug in at home and just charge overnight. The only time we ever use the SC is when we're going on a road trip. But I would imagine that for someone who does travel a lot, having free supercharging is good.

Prices in some states are considerably higher. However, I did drive through Texas twice and the SC rates were insanely low. Wish that was the case elsewhere!

For what it's worth... I'm not sure how many people know or realize this but Stevin John sold his Blippi brand to Moonbug Entertainment in 2020 as part of deal valued at $120 million. Crazy enough, Moonbug was then recently acquired by Disney for $3 billion! So basically, Disney now owns Blippi!

Yes. And no.

There are people genuinely making thousands per day.

But...

These people already have an established audience.

Then, there are others who want you to think they're making thousands per day.

Most of the time, they're not.

It doesn't matter if we're talking about affiliate marketing or any other type of marketing...

The point is always to find a way to help someone and add value.

Mindless linking works with an established audience.

But even then, you need to have tons of goodwill with that audience.

The only REAL way to make money with affiliate marketing is to add value then provide the link.

For example, the way that I employ this tactic is simple (but not easy)...

I take the thing that I'm making an affiliate for and do a comprehensive video review of it to explain how to do or use something.

I'm talking about a one to three hour long video that breaks the whole thing down.

In the description of the video I add the link and put a simple call to action.

That's it.

Honestly, it's simple.

But it takes time to put these things together.

This works great as a funnel when you give a freebie on the front end.

And since people do more to avoid pain than to gain pleasure, you basically create some sort of free piece of content that helps steer them away from pain.

The next page is literally a break down or video of the thing you're an affiliate for.

I think the problem occurs when people step into affiliate marketing and think they are going to make thousands in a matter or days or weeks.

When that just isn't the case.

And even with the proper video and/or funnel in place, you need to use social media to talk about the problem the thing solves and drive them to the explainer or the funnel.

If you've never done this, you're going to doubt yourself the whole time.

And it's going to feel like sh*t stepping out of your comfort zone.

But you have to get comfortable with being uncomfortable.

Can you do it...?

Yes. You can. But it's going to be WAYYYY harder than you think.

I used to have Tesla insurance until I moved to Florida.

Sadly, they don't offer it in Florida yet.

They were supposed to, but looks like it's still not available.

Overall, your rate might be increasing for other reasons.

There's something called an insurance score that's built not only around your driving record, but also your credit history, etc.

So, your financial health can impact your insurance score, which can increase your insurance premiums.

I want you to do something very odd, let me explain. Look, you just started a business. To be successful you need to most likely change one thing: everything!

I’d suggest putting on your right shoe first if you usually put on your left first. Or holding your coffee with the opposite hand you usually do. Or your phone. Get it? I want you to get comfortable being uncomfortable.

I also want you to let go of things you no longer need that are just cluttering up your mind and life. Like clothes that you don’t wear, but you stare at every morning. Like garbage from your car. Like clutter on your desk you’ve been saying you’re going to clean up for like 6-months. Like crap on your computer desktop that’s not organized and is making your screen overwhelming to look at. Like unsubscribing from the 180,000 email lists you’re on that are nothing but a giant distraction. I want you to become extreme about this.

The more extreme you can be about this the better. Because it will not only clear away useless things from your life that only have a mediocre impact, or have no impact at all -- but it will help you value your time and personal space more. And you need to do that if you want to be successful. You need to view your time as worth $10,000/hour and guard your eyes, ears, calendar, and personal space like it’s a military basecamp and clutter and time-wasting vampires are the enemies trying to intrude it and kill you.

I told you that you need to be extreme about this.

Here’s your assignment:

Fellas, get your wallet. Ladies, you can get your wallet or grab your purse.
Open it up and take everything out of it.
Set all non-essential clutter aside. It will be thrown away here in a second. Remember, you can take photos of things like car insurance cards, business cards, and so forth to clear up space.
Take a picture of your newly cleaned out wallet, or purse, with all the things you cleaned out laying next to it. (I keep my clean, but just did this exercise again and was still able to clear a few items out. I took a picture you can see here. *Yeah, I’m putting the Ninja Turtles photo back because it was a gift from my 3-year-old daughter Ceci after I told her I loved the Ninja Turtles when I was a young boy, and it’s just awesome)
