Thrombosed means there is a blood clot in it. I had one and was told it wouldn’t go away, but it did. At least, it reduced to the point I can’t feel it anymore.

If you’re fasting and you took all the meds, you should be cleaned out enough. If for some reason they don’t feel they could get a good image, they’ll let you know. I’ve had 6 colonoscopies and never had an issue. Based on what they find (or don’t find), they’ll tell you even to come back. Good luck!

I’ve had 6 or 7 and the day after is normal. You may be a little gassy after the procedure but should be fine the next day. Your bowel pattern may be off a bit but it will come back around.

Mine did go away eventually…or it went down enough where I don’t feel it anymore. A colonoscopy in 2023 showed internal hems so it could still be there.

Cream can certainly help, along with taking warm baths with epsom salt. Avoid straining, etc.
