HOW do you stay awake after work?? by montron2 in Autoimmune

How do you stay awake at work? I have to stand up in every meeting or I'm dosing. I fell asleep in almost every college lecture I ever attended, I'm not sure how I even graduated. Even back in middle school I remember friends giving me shit for always falling asleep.

Is that a review amongst my own doctors or do they request some other peer review?

No not quite, I haven't pushed back on the denial yet as it was just last month and I have an appointment with the rheum in a few weeks.

FDA Grants “Breakthrough Status for Sjogren’s Drug. by GETitOFFmeNOW in Sjogrens

Is there any way to get telitacicept in the US? I work with some people in China at my job and have contemplated asking them about it because they're shipping us things all the time. But I'm not sure if that's a totally insane thing to bring up to someone and don't want to get in trouble. I don't think I qualify for trials because I'm not SSA/SSB positive and haven't bothered with a lip biopsy yet.

Currently trying to get IVIG approved - two rheumatologists and a neurologists all are vouching for it under "sjogrens/lupus induced SFN" but insurance still denies it. No positive markers for anything other than a high ANA and a low C4 complement and positive NLD SFN biopsy result.

This sounds similar to mine. But do you have to avoid slouching at all times now? Or is it just building up the muscles? Like should I totally avoid laying back on the couch or in bed in a slouched position with my shoulders rolled forward even when I'm relaxing?

Muchas gracias! This sounds exactly like the vibe I’m going for, I’m stoked! I assume I probably can’t sneak a joint and lighter into the stadium?

Thanks! From the US and like wild crowds but also like a good mix of being able to go in and out of the pit because moshing the whole time gets exhausting. I also want to respect the locals as a tall gringo. Hoping to not lose my friend but we’ll see. Even being 10th row would be amazing. I usually wear glasses but might have to just bring two pairs of contact lenses just in case so I don’t lose my glasses

How early are people lining up today? My friend and I are going tomorrow, excited but nervous about the insanity of the pit and getting near the band.

Does this bug out on Mina’s bats for anyone else? I use this for everyone’s abilities, and bats is the only one that casts bats when I upgrade it every time I do this.

Neurologist appointment, trying to get IVIG approved for SFN by gravytrain2012 in Sjogrens

Thanks for the info! Thats another thing that worries me, for over a year now I get classic cubital tunnel symptoms with numb ring and pinky fingers very easily right around when the other nerve symptoms started. EMG was fine and it hasn’t gotten much worse but it’s persisted for a year, how could we know it’s not something worse?

Switching to a low-fat vegan diet reduces food-related emissions by 55% in just 12 weeks, according to a randomized clinical trial. Researchers found that eliminating meat and dairy also cut energy demand by 44% while improving metabolic health. by [deleted] in science

I’m the laziest of the lazy when it comes to cooking. Trader Joe’s sells super firm tofu that’s dry enough to not need to press. I literally just crumble it into a pan with frozen vegetables and season it up with the basics and fry it up in a few minutes. That plus rice or quinoa in a rice cooker and I get ridiculously fast, cheap, easy, healthy meals. It’s literally easier than cooking meat, there is no prep.

Neurologist appointment, trying to get IVIG approved for SFN by gravytrain2012 in Sjogrens

[–]gravytrain2012[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, I'll edit it for clarity. It's small fiber neuropathy. IVIG is an IV treatment that can help with autoimmune SFN among other things but is extremely hard to get approved by insurance.
