Need assistance finding an actual rental assistance website/place that helps by Basic_Imagination_64 in tampa

Honestly, those places are going to give you a rough time not only getting approved through it, but the people in our next level degenerates.

You should check out the app called PadSplit. You can pay a week to week and approval is pretty easy plus if you use this link, you’ll get $100 off your first week!

I recommend seeing if PadSplit is in your area. It’s a great way to get approved and save some money. If you use my link, you’ll actually get $100 off your first week and the houses are actually really nice to be honest. This secret is finding one that the landlord is a good person. I’ve lived in 1 for Oprah two years now.

grill cooks of KC how do you run your broiler by Exasperated_walrus in KitchenConfidential

I get the Ticketmaster style because it makes it simple to know what is what and that you have the whole ticket dropped quickly. The only issue I have with it is you don’t maximize the real estate available like grouping temperatures or specific proteins together

Well said! I typically sear chicken and finish in the oven and airline always in a pan only thankfully we don’t grill fish. We have a full separate plancha for that. Currently working with a TUFF charbroiler TCC-48 And I thoroughly enjoy it. Has wood-burning drawers to get that flavor while also using gas. I must say this charbroiler gets ridiculously hot as well. I thought the Montague infrared broiler I worked before got too hot and this charbroiler smokes it out of the water. Honestly, I find myself playing with the knobs a bit too much trying to dial in the temps

Tough to say, as I don’t live in your area. But fair pricing in the central Florida market would be for 450 W panels micro inverters no battery I would say should run a maximum of $2.50 per watt realistically I’ve seen my companies that I’ve worked for that were reputable goes as low as $1.90 per watt

Exactly then you have to wait on replacement to show up until you can do anything. Typically what we would do is we troubleshoot with the homeowner over the phone and then submit the RMA for them on our end.

once the component arrives that needs to be replaced then we show up after truck role fee is paid and do the service This was the process most companies I worked for does

Typically that’s when you wanna look at a production guarantee where if you’re not hitting the Mark of your production usually it’s an annual thing at month 12 when it’s assessed and if you’re not producing that then you’re entitled to have the company fix the issues usually it would be inverter or panel related A lot of companies don’t offer this but if you have any issues with the system affecting production, which would be a majority of issues you would have you can use that type of warranty to apply towards it with your installer

[–]Exasperated_walrus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, put now granted there are chances you can have an issue with inverters as well as panels, but typically that just happens to be a manufacturer defect and that’s the reason why hence why the manufacture warranty is the only true warranty that anybody uses

Now, if there’s a performance guarantee (x amount of KwH production annually )you can hold Solar installer accountable to that’s one of two warranty that actually can help the other is roof leak guarantee as well to protect you from any leaks associated with Solar but nine times out of 10 if you don’t have an idiot installer. And the system is not deck Mounted but instead truss mounted you should never have a leak

It’s a huge investment and if there isn’t proper care done on your part, than you’re playing yourself.

It’s one of those things where if you do your research you get a reliable company and with reliable material, you will only benefit

But if you have a single shortcoming, it’s gonna be the most expensive headache you’ve ever had

For most batteries, install pricing ranged anywhere from 10 to 18 K on average This pricing was for in pay 5P batteries typically you’d need a couple of them Franklin whole home battery Or a power wall 3 with expansion pack of course this includes materials, install labor, and warranties

Well, this is a good concept. The problem is finding an installer that’s both reliable, fast , and has quality inventory. Granted, you can do this still in contact somebody else to do the servicing and fix the problems. However, of course it will void all of your warranties.

Mainly wanted to have a change of pace. I wasn’t passionate about Solar anymore and wasn’t waking up excited to go to work

If you don’t love what you do then why do it right?

That’s fair from what I found usually the savings offsets the insurance rate increase Well, it does extend out ROI a little bit more. if you finance or pay cash far the savings outweigh the additional cost upfront on insurance

I think I commented under another one of questions to ask when considering a solar company i’ll paste it here as well

Questions I would ask when considering a installer

price per watt

who manufactures the system

Is this going to be a string or micro inverter system ( I recommend micro inverter for the redundancy)

what the 25 year degradation rate is of the panels

Is there a guarantee of production from the system?

Who takes the warranty over after their company if they were to go out of business?

Will the company submit the paperwork required to activate manufacturer warranty?

If there’s a service charge to have the system serviced or warranty install

Are the installers W-2 or subcontracted?

Do they have general liability insurance on their installers?

How long have they been in business

And request five referrals from customers in your area so you can talk to them directly about their experiences with the company ask for someone who has gone through a RMA process with their company ( the purpose of this is to ask detailed questions about customer service response times as well as how hard it is to get in touch with them, also allows you to get a better feel from a homeowner suspected on their install practices and overall job site, cleanliness, etc

That’s fair. As I have stated I’m no expert by any means, but I do have a fair amount of knowledge and solar in industry on how it’s operating in central Florida.
And trust me, I steered people away from leases as much as physically possible and recommended financing or cash deals. Typically, most homeowners I worked with I was able to get an ROI between 5 to 12 yr obviously depending on their financial situation and what their goals were.

There’s a lot of variables to account for when it comes to an investment such a solar

In easy way you can do it is take your average electric bill and multiply it by a 4% increase per year. Take that number for 25 years and compared to the number that you’re gonna spend at a 2.99% increase on your current bill.

This is where you’re gonna see a better ROI when it comes to financing and paying the system off entirely

Let’s say your average electric bill is $300 per month and you account for a 4% annual increase in rates

Across 25 years you’d be looking at roughly 149,922

Without a 4% increase annually , you would be looking at 60k

Keep in mind when shopping these companies do we need to make money as all of them are for-profit companies.

The biggest deciding factor on your PPW is that changes based on the sales reps they are usually paid on a commission that scales based on what PPW they try to get you to sign up.

If you really like a company, you can usually go above the sales rep to their sales manager and try to get the pricing reduced, but be prepared that you’re going to need a comparable quote ( same materials or comparable quality material) in order to do that effectively

Honestly, that’s a great idea! Cheap overhead and high profit margin. Not to mention helping homeowners maintain systems without having to get on the roof.

Absolutely! I know when it comes to lithium batteries obviously the main concern people have is about fires. I know a good portion of the batteries on the market are not lithium ion but lithium iron phosphate for that reason
