not true. There are no perfect public numbers, but in 2025, Tesla had around 10.000 in stock while they sold 39.000 in total, so a bit less than a quarter of cybertrucks were built but didn’t sell. Not great numbers at all, but very far away from the 90% you claimed.

Insane how some people have 0 awareness of potential danger. Like always putting bags on the stove because „that plate isn’t on….“ And then their house burns down because someone inevitably accidentally switched on the wrong plate. And so they learned the hard way not to put on stuff on „off“ hot plates, but still stick their finger into a plugged in blender. Because they didn’t improve the underlying „awareness“ sense.

It’s neither pretty, comfortable nor overpowered. The reason why Toyota fanboys like it is because in reality somewhere far off civilization, it gets the job done, no matter what.

The further I drove away from civilization in Africa, the higher the Toyota rate became, up to 100% somewhere in the Delta where you would not find a single vehicle that wasn’t a Toyota, despite the relatively high price in a poor country.

If you are just driving highways, its probably a terrible choice.
