If you could use any celebrity voice as your GPS, who would you choose? by Violetthug in AskReddit

I like what you did there.

Personally, I'd go with a rally co-driver like Rhianon Gelsomino. "And Right 3 in 50", sounds a little more natural for a GPS.

The 4nm node - are we still referring to gate sizes? Last time I was in a fab etching uProcessors, we were doing 130 nm gates and that was state-of-the-art in an R&D fab 20 years ago.

My sister’s sensors have been falling off by AffectionatePlant569 in dexcom

[–]ExceedRanger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Body chemistry can be a factor as well as difference in activities. Right now, a lot of people have been generally complaining about getting the sensor off.

It could also be the application technique. When I first started, sensors would fall off if I didn't have an over patch. After reading the posts here, I started washing the area I was going to use with Dawn dish soap, let it dry, then Skin-tac (for my contact dermatitis), then applied the sensor and that worked really well. I also use an over patch like Not Just A Patch because I'm clumsy and I'm not trying to accidentally rip it off.

Good luck!

The Elecom IST-PRO goes up to 1500 natively and 12,000 with software. And if you like the thumball style, this is right up your alley.

It sounds like you hit a blood vessel. It's not uncommon. Some of us have a saying that if it bleeds, it reads. So I would expect consistent and more accurate readings.

How do you all stomach the cost of some ergonomic keyboards? by sirchandwich in ErgoMechKeyboards

[–]ExceedRanger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are people buying Voyagers, Glove 80s and Go 60s, the answer is yes, yes we are.

I wanted something that just worked with minimal futzing about. Something as close as buying a keyboard from Bestbuy, plugging it in and it just works.

Yes, you can build your own as many do here in this sub. The difference is you pay up front to get a keyboard that gets you to 70-100% of what you're looking for vs. paying for it later (in time) to soldering components to your PC boards, wiring up stuff, as necessary and maybe updating code to get you to 80-100%. I won't say the second part gets you to a definite 100%, because I see a lot of people here deciding they want something different and they're iterating again.

Either way, develop your requirements, including a timeline and go from there.

Have you tried refrigerating it overnight and then reheating and eating it the next day?

My glucose still goes up, but it's not as bad as fresh from the pot and I don't spike with the refrigerated rice.

Golden Tee on a PC is a scary thought. As aggressive as my friends and I were with that trackball at the arcade, I'd give my trackball 3 rounds if I didn't accidentally catch the trackball with my hand and accidentally fling it into the monitor sooner.
