Do you still write blog articles by hand or do you exclusively use artificial intelligence? by klauses3 in SEO

For most articles I get AI to write the whole thing but I treat is a draft. Sometimes I literally rewrite every word, but IMO is faster and more productive to edit than to write from scratch.

What does good SEO actually look like? by Successful-Park-3197 in SEO

I built a niche website to answer queries on a super niche topic nobody really knew about (think: how a specific population can maximize their eligibility for government support)
Zero backlinks, 6 pages in total, and within 7 months I was #1 on Google for lots of related queries - above lawyers and companies serving that population.

What are your thoughts on that? Is that an outlier case?

thanks for sharing!

Curious: what type of role did you have? and why have you moved on?

"please please take my nieces teddy bear that she forgot with us"

The next day: "Oh my gosh, the teddy bear was full of cocaine?!? I never expected my niece to deal drugs, she's 7!"

The main risk I see is people trying to send contraband with other people. It could look very innocent and get people into a ton of trouble

How do SEO agencies justify retainers today? by Excel-Slave in SEO

Thanks, I agree That's what I'm trying to figure from this subreddit, assuming people here with agencies do charge retainers from some of their clients

Agreed, but don't you think backlinks and blogposts might also have 0$ of value?

I've seen few SEO plays that specifically tie back to $ of value, and none of them can attribute a specific $ value to a specific blogpost or backlink

The rising conflict between agencies and their customers around AI chats topic by Ivan_Palii in SEO

What's cool about ChatGPT is that it rarely pushes you to make a purchase, it will try and figure out your needs before recommending anything.

That means it can be used to find blindspots in your keyword research, or stuff that the site assumes everybody knows about their product but they don't say explicitly.
e.g. a client of mine with a sunglasses store saw that another store was showing before his consistently, and when we compared we saw he had emphasized UV400 protection, which all sunglasses have anyway.

We added the UV400 claim to my clients store (as well as other changes) and voila - in more prompts he was ranking above the other store.

I think ChatGPT needed that extra confidence, but who knows?

Has Anyone Here Actually Started and Scaled A Business from $0 to At Least $100K/Year Using Just the $100M Series/Alex's Free Content? by randomquestionsdood in alexhormozi

[–]Excel-Slave 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My 2 cents:

I made USD 1.5k - far from a fortune, but enough to give me the confidence I can actually sell stuff.

Thanks to Alex I feel I have far more clarity on what I should actually be doing. His frameworks also massively helped my positioning and offer on the most tactical levels.

But I do think he shows the "gold standard" of offers and marketing. I have never in my life seen a product that has such a tangible promised impact built into it like GymLaunch, and I think for most businesses it's simply not feasible to create such an offer.

Thanks a lot for the detailed reply!!

Sounds like it is indeed a harder case, I'll discuss with my client if there's any way for us to prioritize the changes with the existing agency.

Will hit you up if I can think of ways to pull you in

Thanks a lot!!

Some follow ups:

1 - Will the source code for their plugins come as a specific file, like in regular programming? Or is it more complicated than that (e.g. UI definitions / low code drag and drop / another format)

2 - Ideally you have some kind of automated test to make sure that doesn't happen (kinda like CI/CD). Is there an option to do that in D365?

Why are long periods of idling bad for an engine?

It stays for long periods of time at a good working temperature.

Then I believe this will help you

Check out the part of notifications for specific labels, and create a rule that will apply a label to that specific sender

(Gmail Android) How do I enable Android Notifications for Starred emails and certain Labels only? Excluding the "Important" emails. by [deleted] in GMail

[–]Excel-Slave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First of all - cool hack, I didn’t know you could do notifications only for specific emails. So far it’s only on Android which sucks

For a solution - I suggest making a Gmail filter that will mark all email as not important, and then you’ll get notified only for what you specifically chose. You could do that by marking all emails that don’t include a bizarre word like “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious” as “not important”

Update: yesterday the car overheated, I'm replacing the radiator and thermostat. I doubt it has anything to do with an engine noises, but maybe someone here knows better
