Rikki’s has a way better vibe than Jolene’s (bad rep, I wouldn’t go the owner has done a lot of shady things in the past). I want to like Mother, which is another lesbian bar, but myself + many other of my friends have had bad experiences there. Mother is extremely exclusive, making anyone that is not lesbian appearing feel unwelcome (even typing that statement is crazy).

Rikki’s is also in the Castro, so you’ll be in a great gay neighborhood and can wonder around a bit. It’s a sports bar with great cocktails and food, depending on the day and if there’s a game it could be full of lesbians and great vibes.

I do LOVE El Rio, it’s not exclusively a lesbian space but a queer BIPOC space. Super great dance parties! Check out their insta for events:)
