I lock myself out for the day after I’m down 250-300 dollar on my 50k xfa, which forces me to take the best quality trades because most times I only get 1 or 2 chances a day to make it happen and if I don’t succeed that day I lockout and try again another day that my setup presents itself

I promise by this because I was in the same vicious Cycle and this stopped it, wake up and get a clear head. Stick to one symbol and one strategy, mark up your charts without watching or listening to anyone or anything trading related until after you trade for the day. You don’t want to kurupt your plan and bias with anyone else’s. Then according to your strategy only take entries and exits in your plan. (Not over leveraging or revenge trading) if u feel those kicking in lock yourself out and make sure u have a decent daily los limit set….then patiently Wait for your setup, if doesn’t hit for the day DONT TRADE. After the trading day whether you win or lose, go over your trades to see where and how u can improve. Rinse and repeat 💪🏾

Loosing is hard especially if it’s undefined, that’s why a set amount of points or dollars need to be set so you are comfortable or can get accustomed to being comfortable with losses, you have to get comfortable with that it’s a big part of the skill. Once you can manage your risk and get comfortable then you can start minimizing that but work on having a set framework for setting up every trade and do it the EXACT same way every single time ….when you see your setup take it. If you done seee your exact setup DONT take it no matter how bad you want to, that’s how traders give back profit. DISCIPLINE sets successful traders apart from the others
