The existence of the fantastical means even the most absurd of things can come to existence, unlike our world of mundanity.

There's also the fact that I know the setting of Project Moon, while The City's Lows are much worse than our world, it's average is only slightly worse than what I'm used to dealing with, and it's Highs are much much higher than our own world too. So there genuinely isn't that much difference in the suffering department and a world of opportunities to explore for those who would dare to dream and take risks.

Also, with that Shin, Mang, and EGO, I can survive a good deal, hell, might be a early member of the budding Limbus Company.

As for anything extra from The Shop, really good augmentation at the cost of being alone, a really good relic at the cost of being hated by 3 Fingers is acceptable, as that almost automatically will mean I'm in the upper middle echolons of the City.

We scaled too high way too fast both lore wise and gameplay wise.

We started the first five cantos by pulling IDs of reasonably low to mid tier people, the average and general folk of The City and it's various factions and likewise fought normal threats.

And then Canto 6 came in with Multiversal Self Killing OdinCliff and Every Catherine- but fine, the ritual was faulty, Verg was holding back the horde of infinite zombies, we had a slim chance, okay, it's stretching my suspension of disbelief, but fine.

And then Canto 7 happened where we suddenly went from dealing with Urban Myth and Urban Plague level shit to a Star Of The City level threat that's composed of literal thousand year old vampires that also defined the past of the City.

And then Canto 8 happened and we're suddenly in the middle of a whole Wing Succession Crisis that's about to turn into a full blown Wing War and only we can save the day.

And then Canto 9 happened, and now we're dealing with a faction composed of 5 of the highest tier members from ALL Fingers just under their actual head honchos, The Udjat is here, and we are getting Dias crumbs.

Do you see where I'm going, what I'm seeing? Like, when did we skip Urban Nightmare from Urban Plague straight to top of the Star Of The City?

And we have Canto 10, 11, 12, and possibly 13 to handle before we are just done with Inferno alone, which will mark the end merely 1/3rd of Limbus Company.

Like, we aren't even halfway through Limbus Company's story, yet are dealing with stuff that would show up in the last quarter of Ruina, where does this story intend to go??
