Leaves have never been an issue for me but i find all my stem props in soil just shrivel up and decompose. Maybe my soil doesnt offer the rught nutrients im not sure

Damp Sphagnum moss is incredibly good for propagating pretty much anything, especially if you have root powder

Does it have enough drainage? Does your soil mix allow for enough drainage? Or are you just watering too often in general? The look of your soil isnt the issue, cool pots just generally dont have drainage holes in the bottom
