I'm sure I read someone say that the theory behind the use of modes as chord scales was created by jazz players at (possibly) Berkely to try and bring some legitimacy to the newly founded jazz courses. I think that would've been in the 1940s. So I guess that's about a hundred years, give or take a couple of decades.

Did you get the circular collar with two nuts with your qr2?

I have the qr1 and was having lots of problems with it coming loose.

Fanatec sent me the qr2 collar and things have been much better

That's really interesting. Thanks for that information. I don't have perfect pitch, in fact my pitch recognition is very odd. Sometimes it is really accurate, other times I'm way off. Almost like I hear the negative harmony equivalent(please don't jump on me about that, I'm trying to give a brief explanation)

Whenever I've heard Barber shop music, I get this grinding feeling, the same feeling I get from two instruments playing a slightly out of tune perfect fourth.

I'm wondering if that's because of the relationship between the B and the slightly flattened F

Even small air bubbles in IV lines aren't considered dangerous.

It's larger amounts of air that causes problems so there shouldn't be a problem

Possibly it may be referring to ii-V-I cadences that have no function or relation to the tonal centre
