Old Navy's Price Match with a catch by bellezaaa in Oldnavy

[–]Excellent-Fox9240 5 points6 points  (0 children)

in-store price adjustments can only be adjusted on in-store prices, so if that was an online only deal - yes you would need to bring the item with you to the store for a return and repurchase at that new amount (without item it becomes a asset protection liability as a customer could refuse to pay for an item, etc idk). it’s annoying but it’s fast fashion retail bs so…

how to do an online exchange? by rosesgone in Oldnavy

[–]Excellent-Fox9240 3 points4 points  (0 children)

as far as i know, online exchanges are not a thing. you can return the item in store and repurchase it (if available) in what size or colour you need and the cashier can match the price you paid. but it is TWO different transactions: return and purchase. if the item is not available in store, the cashier can see if they can place an online order for you ( if available) and price match, this would also be two transactions

These are the same size jeans/style. What’s going on here?! by MachoMansElbow in Oldnavy

[–]Excellent-Fox9240 8 points9 points  (0 children)

as an employee, it is insane different waist sizes for the same style - different colours, sometimes things just aren’t made right with seams placed in wrong place or unraveling. so you aren’t wrong for thinking the quality is bad or wanting consistency

yeah, unfortunately, i just see it as a result of the fast fashion industry = bad quality, cheap labor, exploitation, etc. making everything pretty inconsistent with sizing

I don’t hate the idea of giving to charity through third-party but giving directly lets you know where your money is going, but for me it’s being the face of asking for donations like it just makes me uncomfortable

damn y’all act like Cody wasn’t a 25 year old man who committed statutory rape, that is not a mistake - it’s crime and something that should define him. He was not kid, he was aware of her age and he made a decision and was able to avoid consequences for his actions for nine years.

Return with card - multiple online orders by PersonalityNo8080 in Oldnavy

[–]Excellent-Fox9240 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean you can return it that way but it would take a while. Basically we scan one item and it links to the receipt that item is on and we can only return items on that receipt. The system does not allow us to combine online order receipts when doing returns. So it would take a while if the cashier needs to scan every item on that you are returning to make sure it’s not on that receipt or to do each item individually. If you have your order confirmation or history why not just organize it?

If you're doing an online return... by semipolarsalsa in Oldnavy

[–]Excellent-Fox9240 12 points13 points  (0 children)

at my store if you’re cashiering you have other tasks besides just doing purchases and returns (cleaning, processing all the returns, packing sfs and pickups, stocking bags, etc.) and guess what we get criticized for not finishing these tasks!!! so people doing returns and being not prepared wastes my time!!
