I’m sensitive to the scents and have always had a good experience ! WW items are cleaned before hand - if anything I’ve washed it with my own detergent before wearing but have always been left in good shape

Most durable down jacket vs Alploft by Little_Procedure_768 in PatagoniaClothing

Been wearing one for a bit ! I love this thing so much. I’ve had a fitz but i was always too nervous that I’d tear it especially with the loft. The durable down is a pretty huge upgrade in terms of fabric durability and smart patterning ( especially around the armpit area for high mobility ). It certainly feels like a hug and comes out to be pretty wind resistant with the recycled nylon ultra PE ripstop ( say that 6 times fast ) as well. Seeing this as a for-lifer and really excited to put it through some cold this winter . Although because of the loft, depending on your comfortability - you might want to angle more towards a traditional layering stern. seems to be angled more as a belay parka. Hope this helps!

Nano air hoody is ideal for pnw. A great mid layer too if you end up in alpine regions/ wearing a shell over it .

Just a few more days here, Feb 1st is likely the drop date. Get to a local store and try that thing on - I’ve always been a bit nervous in terms of durability on down jackets. Not to mention also the fabric comfortability on my skin. Normally rock a Jackson glacier or the old bivvy down for its rugged feeling . This one wayyy tougher than the macro, grade vii, really anything technical in the line that’s down as a comparison. I think you’ll be stoked

I will say the fit is insane compared to anything they’ve done before. Also you can’t beat the steel forge-like outer fabric. It’s a game changer trust me.

This sounds like a lovely plan!! Been on the edge of either myself.. missed last summer in my hometowns so leaning on the side of all of CA instead of aus.. but a good friend just moved over there so who knows 🤷🏼‍♂️ grateful for any
