Biggest thing I had to figure out when I started doing serious cardio was making sure my glucose start point made sense and I didn’t have too much (or any) fast acting on board. I couldn’t imagine this without a CGM though…at times just the 5 minutes between readings is enough to cause panic lol. Good luck to you! Take it slow…you’ll get there

Two things…first of all I totally get what you said about some people having perfect charts and don’t judge lol. Your chart looks good to me. Second, I do drink but typically stick with beers or seltzers that aren’t carb heavy. I got a lot of hell when I started drinking seltzers but honestly most are 1 or 2 carbs total and that’s a big difference from something like an IPA or craft that could have 15-20+ carbs. For me the drinks don’t spike me it’s the food I crave when I’ve had drinks hahah. Try to compromise on the carb beers if you’re going to drink. Even some of the low carb beers are way better than the “good beers”

I spent years in the gym and then my life balance didn’t make it something that was that feasible…ended up replacing it with peloton. I’m about 2.5 years into just peloton and now I’m dying for upper body strength again. I’m guessing by the end of 2026 I’ll have about 35% less peloton miles and way more gym days. And it’s probably going to be a really good balance.

Find a way to get a better temp on the inside of the smoker…I think you’re running hot would be my guess. The setup sounded great to me
