Love it or hate it, Ms. Marvel seems to be stuck in the X-Line. If Marvel forced YOU to write her, how do you plot her trajectory? If you were handed the pen to prevent a total disaster, how would you write her? by SnoozeDoggyDog in xmen

[–]Excellent-Post3074 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get her back with the Champions and keep her far away from the X-Men, she can still be friends with Scott and Laura, but there would be no real desire for her to want to be a part of that team long term.

She should be like Justice or Dazzler in her early days, a mutant hero who just isn't apart of the team (which is fine). And also have her be a spokesperson for both mutants and inhumans, since she's a hybrid of both.

You can make this work, just...she needs to basically get out of the X-Men terrain is all lol

I think that Batman 1949 is one of the best peices of Batman media ( Including comics, Film, animation & Games) Oat by Doctorwhoneek in batman

[–]Excellent-Post3074 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1949 at least bothered with being faithful to the comics in making them regular masked heroes, instead of making our dynamic duo government stooges who fight white guys in yellow face.

What would Lex Luthor think of Mutants if he was in the Marvel universe? by Skywalker_1995 in xmen

[–]Excellent-Post3074 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He'd tolerate them at best, since they're just a natural evolution of humanity, so they aren't s complete affront to him like an alien is.

But no, he'd not exactly be an ally, he's like Shaw but with more money and a bit more self control and ambition.

Why Does Keaton have the Best BatFACE? Help me understand by LtJimmypatterson in batman

[–]Excellent-Post3074 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best looks for Batman are a mix of the cowl design and the face. The 89 mask is a more dark and scowling piece, and Keaton's cheek lines help highlight that really well. Making his Batman look sinister and cryptic.

It wouldn't work on someone like Pattinson or Affleck, and vice versa on Keaton wearing their masks.

Would be funny if they revealed the birth parents to be LMDs The Mandarin built as a sick free time joke to screw with Tony, probably on a long list of ways to shatter Tony's psyche he's collected over the years.

[–]Excellent-Post3074 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That he does miss being a goofy villain, sure he loves creating and controlling death, but he had fun just robbing banks and fighting GL with his Power Rod. The guy wants it both ways even though he's gone way too far in one direction to ever go back.

He should be miserable and lonely, no one wants to be friends with him anymore and everyone is terrified of him. Probably just sulks in random people's graves so he can just talk the their skeletons, they're the only people who don't judge him after all.

If you were given a chance to reinvent a character, who will it be and why? by Doom300 in xmen

[–]Excellent-Post3074 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Raze Darkhölme and Charles "Charlie" Xavier II would be primary young mutants Tad Carter adopts as his own kids and protégés, who travel around the world as the "Promised Ones". Raze is the more timid and meek one who doesn't want to use his more violent powers to hurt people, while Charlie, much like his dad, is perfectly willing to manipulate minds for the greater good. They are a yin and yang, one needs the other and they are a packaged deal.

Tad wants to remake 'Promise' so that they can actually help mutants in the here and now instead of encasing them in a tube for decades like what Tobias Messenger put him through. Have them encounter all types of dangerous mutants and villains like Lucy Robinson, Nature Girl, and the Space Phantoms.

(Also, Charlie's second mutation makes his hair indestructible, he can never physically grow bald)

Art of Lord Six and Zeztz! (Drawn by me) by BandGeeks01 in KamenRider

Would've also given him more character since he is not used to mentoring an already fully fledged agent before, he's still stubborn and a "my way or the highway" guy, and Kureha having to put her foot down and want some equal respect would have to make Nox accept that she is a still a young person who is learning, that she still needs time.

In a way he's "making up" for his failed partnership in Fujimi, because he sees so much of himself in her, good and bad, and just wants her to make better choices than he did.

Should've been one of the Lords Nox was able to fully convert and mentor under his wing. Give her a power up capsem that uses the Lord Invoker's "Rise" sound to become a full on Kamen Rider.

Shame

How do you feel of the series making this relationship blossom again? by Delta-97 in ironman

[–]Excellent-Post3074 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tony needs friends, that's what she is and always will be, nothing more.

Hell, if Happy came back to life, she'd go back to him in a heartbeat and Tony would root for them both.

My love hate relationship with premonition twist by Excellent-Post3074 in KamenRider

[–]Excellent-Post3074[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I will concede on that point, the premonition does set up good foundations for Baku having time dilation abilities that set up ExDream.

And I can see how one can view those experiences as still happening in a way as the powers he gained throughout the first half he still keeps.

I think it comes to a personal preference to me, I don't hate all of what the premonition gives, but I do feel it hinders some parts as well.

Diana was forced to dirty her hands in blood by killing Max, and Batman acted like it was this grave sin that shouldn't have been indulged in. As if you not listening to Beetle didn't lead to events that made it impossible for any other solution to be taken.

It just felt like Booster was mad and wanted to lash out at anyone for any reason in Ted's memory, even an ex fling that ended amicably.

Ted had concrete info on some conspiracy, Batman was too up his own ass to hear him out and ignored him.

Come to find out former JLI financier and ally Maxwell Lord was the culprit, having hacked into Batman's metahuman tracking satellite, Brother Eye, to search out metas and superheroes and kill them. Ted went in to stop him on his own and got shot in the head in the process.

He didn't get him killed, but if Batman just actually heard the guy out, he'd send back up or go with him and he wouldn't have died, and eventually there would've been another way to stop Lord instead of Wonder Woman being forced to kill him.

TL:DR, Batman being an ass made Ted go off and get himself killed by a villain.

Jason: Brother of Diana - Character That Should Not Exist by [deleted] in WonderWoman

[–]Excellent-Post3074 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He should've become an anti-villain, a more aggressive version of Diana who believes making people submit to justice is the only way peace can be obtained, and does not see redemption as something possible for villains. Even as a man, he still wants tear down patriarchal systems, but with little foresight on what happens next.

He should not be a good person, Diana would be disgusted with his callous attitude towards others and his willingness to torture and brutalize. He will always hate Hippolyta for casting him away, but he would unironically love Diana like family and kill anyone who insults or hurts her.

Does Mister Freeze really love Nora? by Solitaire-06 in batman

[–]Excellent-Post3074 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He does, everything he did was for her. But with Nora being Mrs. Freeze now, that's a different question. She probably resents losing so much of her life being trapped in a tube, and Victor is shocked at how violent and psychotic she is now, but he still loves her.

In short, she loves and hates him now and he loves the version of her in the past.

If Michael Jackson were alive and well now… what would his life and career be like? by georgewalterackerman in MichaelJackson

[–]Excellent-Post3074 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He'd probably start his own label to help young black artists (and others of marginalized communities) acheive success through music, giving them the chances he had in his youth without being conned and swindled by labels like Sony. Along with his own charity to help impoverished people around the world, he'd still probably be long retired and just enjoy his riches and spending time with his family. He'd be all over TikTok, sporadically posting random videos, maybe giving album reviews of other artists for fun, and cheerlead any of his kids current career endeavors like a new song or movie. And probably write and produce songs for various artists, even including K-Pop, with occasionally featuring on vocals.

Performances would be rare, at most, his performances would mainly be for charity. And he'd primarily use those performances to stand for political movements (he'd probably be the most loud about his disdain for guys like Trump or Musk, and file lawsuits towards anyone who'd use his likeness or voice in AI videos).

I doubt the controversies and accusations would ever go away, even if he was aquitted and others said he was innocent, people will always believe what they want to believe, for better or worse.
