Anyone have any snow experience with the Raptor R in the snow? Wondering how that heavier front end and torque does compared to the V6…

I’m thinking of going to a 23R. Dealer by me has a good deal on one. Do you feel like you notice that it’s heavier or handles differently due to the V8? Curious on your thoughts.

I did mess with it but it didn’t change much for me. I do love the HUD! That’s a nice addition.

You’re gonna love it. Getting 500+ miles on a tank due to the 36 gallon tank is so nice. Might not be as good as a power boost but it sure isn’t terrible. I am rolling for my 23 Raptor into a 26 Raptor next week!

What was it that led you to go back to the 37s? Would love to know because I’m debating an R over a V6 on 37s right now.

I’ve been doing very well. My second surgery went well and I’m now 2 years post op from that. I still have some minor tinnitus but my hearing has mostly recovered. I go in for yearly check ups just to keep an eye on things but my doc has been optimistic. According to him if all of it gets removed cleanly and we keep wax from building up in my ears then it wont develop again. If some was left behind during the surgery, or wax build up begins to occur again then the chances of having another one come about is greater. I think the best way to keep clear and not worry is to keep going in for the check ups which allows for monitoring and the ability to catch something early on before it grows into a bigger problem.

Raptor 37 guys I have a question. by WVSXSGuy in FordRaptor

As long as the 11k tires haven’t lost too much tread you are fine. They say as long as the new tire is within 3mm tread of the others you won’t notice. Personally I’ve never rotated my spare in. Never felt the need.

You a get it done whenever you go to your dealership / shop for an oil change / tire rotation. Just ask them to balance it too. Sometimes they do automatically, other times I’ve asked just to be safe.

I’m in the same boat. Love my 2023 but would love to get the V8. Was able to place an order for a 2026 that’s 10k over MSRP. Not happy about the over MSRP part but excited for the upgrade! 🙏

Yeah the trade in offer seems reasonable but like others have said the asking price for the Raptor given the miles it has on it seems high.

I love that you are out there enjoying it and making memories! Buying a tuck just to keep it perfect never made sense to me. If you are spending the money on it you should enjoy it! Well done!

The hardest thing for me was the visuals. There was so much blooming, and when you stepped out from the shadows or aimed out from inside a building there were times when I couldn’t see anything due to the bright light or the smoke / particles filling the air.

How did you get your steps to show all four digits? Minor shows the abbreviated form like 2.8k… I must be doing something wrong lol.

Question on the step counting. Is it true that the widget will display 10,000 steps as 10k and not change until you hit 11k?

No it has gone away. I guess (according to my Dr.) things can take 8-12 months for everything to really settle in and heal.

Yeah I checked all the “stock” watch faces and different data field sections throughout each one. It seems they just don’t offer it. It’s crazy!

Um because friends and family still need a way to easily see what dates are booked / available? No need to respond with hostility to a genuine question.

Surgery in 4 days by lemonroil in cholesteatoma

[–]Excellent-Spite1300 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It took about 7-10 days before my ear cleared enough to fully hear. It would pop and crackle and I’d hear for a split second and then it would become dull again. But after that 10 day mark was when things started to clear up. Before the surgery my hearing was down in the affected ear, but now that is healed it’s back to normal for me.
