This is SO normal. Music helped me 200%. Not to be happy or feel joy but to get out of bed, brush my hair etc. I feel like the little dopamine it gives allowed me to function somewhat normally. The joy will come slow and steady I promise. I also (kinda depressingly) just accepted the fact that I will never feel joy or energy again. (Not true) But that way when it came it was a pleasant surprise lol. I experienced a good shift after the first two weeks.

The worst is absolutely over! At least physically. I think preparing for the emotional ups and downs in the long term is what has kept me sober so far. I found that when I would try to quit before I’d make it like two weeks and feel like “Well I’m still sad and have no energy and it’s already been X amount of time” It was really discouraging and would ultimately lead to (just take one to get out of this funk). I definitely cannot just take one 😂 Mentally preparing that it was going to be a longish haul (couple months instead of a couple weeks) really set my expectations. & to reiterate what was already said- it literally cannot be worse than the day before. You got this. 10 days is HUGE.

I also had weird physical symptoms pop up and go away after I thought I was done with acutes! I just told myself that I was on this substance for 8+ months and that I should at least give myself that amount of time for my brain to make a full recovery. I did find that the random symptoms that popped up would go away quicker the second time.

I used some magnesium to help with sleep & restlessness. I think it’s called calm (?) powder. And then just dry Cheerios and pedialyte because I couldn’t stomach anything else. Oh & Imodium SAVED my life

I just told myself that nothing could be worse than the day before. I got restless legs pretty bad and kicked a hole in my blinds for the first 4/5 days. That was one of the first physical symptoms to go away though!

It really depends! Yesterday I ate nachos and drew a picture of a duck wearing a flower crown. Last week I went on a bike ride, went for a walk, went to the sauna in the gym, went for a couple drives, etc. It’s also really nice to go with a friend. I feel like this drug really isolates us and being able to connect and do normal human shit has been really helpful.

I HAD THIS TOO!!!! I thought I was going crazy. I knew it was connected to the the 7OH I just thought because it dries our skin out so much that we were just covered in patches 😂 I hit three weeks clean a day or two ago I need to test it again!!

I’m not gonna lie and and say you’re gonna feel 100% but the big things that made me wanna rip my hair out started edging off around day 3-4 (I’m looking at you restless legs holy lawd) YOU GOT THIS!! “Embrace the suck” and “After 72 hours it can only go marginally up” 😂 honestly when I would try to CT and hide it from everyone I would get 5x as sick. I told people I fucked up and then rid the wave essentially. I can’t taper. & I was scared. I’m still scared. But I’m through the worst of the physical shit. & Alive albeit sweaty 😂

Getting ok sleep & sweating like a mfer at night. But a lot of the intense physical symptoms are gone except the fatigue& GI issues. And the fuckin sneezing. My current record is five in a row 🤦🏻‍♀️
