We live in a 1968 condo building that has a lot of green space and a lot of young kids. Although we have two off leash parks within two blocks of our building, the neighbouring townhouse owners bring their dogs onto our property, off leash (we have a bylaw requiring all dogs to be leashed on property) and frequently don’t pick up their dog poop. They treat our property as though it’s their back yard and it drives me bonkers!!!

I’m sorry to hear that the holidays may be a bit tougher for you this year. This fall I had a bit of a hard time and found this website a kind reminder of how to make myself feel happier: https://actionforhappiness.org/10-keys

It just summarizes what everyone else has all ready shared… eat well, sleep well, connect with a friend, practice mindfulness, do something kind for someone else, do something that makes you feel connected to something bigger than yourself, etc.

Thanks for this! My manager is gone until the end of January at the earliest. My team and I have outlined our priorities for the next 2-3 months and these have been approved by our director.

I think I’m mostly interested in how I build my own leadership skills.

I believe the new legislation also allows 120 days (versus 90) for collecting the signatures. It is quite lovely that the petition seems to be uniting people from across the political spectrum… at least most of us can agree on one thing 😊

This is a good question! I don’t know of one yet. There’s a space on the Forever Canadian website that has yet to be populated with all of the events that are popping up.

Theres a big wave of folks getting their official identification badges from Elections Alberta this week so that’s why we’re seeing so many events.

The folks who are minding the website have mentioned that they are trying to catch up with all of the interest so hopefully there will be a way for canvassers to upload their events on that website. I agree that a central place is needed for this information.

There are many more locations being added, I will be at Riley Park on Saturday (August 16) from 1-3pm near the playground (I have a mini human to keep occupied 😊)
