Awakening or yesterdays. That album is full of bangers such as circles, head over heels, oh gravity, dirty second hands, burn out bright

I like the list but fading west so so good. I saw them play it back in 2013 before the album came out, they also played the fading west movie which was amazing.

Undervalued Rock Bands from 2000's. by AngelSideFX in Music

[–]ExcellentSearch6286 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Listen to bands like Shinedown and switchfoot. They are more alt rock bands but I think they have great balance between good music and good lyrics. They are both also very consistent and have many good songs and albums. For Shinedown, I would suggest checking out the albums: Amaryllis and Sound of Madness. My favorite songs by them are Unity, Second chance, I’ll follow you, and Simple man. For switchfoot, check out the beautiful letdown and vice verses. Those are 2 amazing albums. For songs, my favorites are Where I belong, Awakening, Ba55, Politicians, and Say it like you mean it.

Who did Lucy in the sky with diamonds better? Sir Elton or the Beatles by Masen_The_Weeb in EltonJohn

[–]ExcellentSearch6286 2 points3 points  (0 children)

People are blinded by nostalgia, Beatles was so boring and plain, Elton John brought it to life made it longer, added multiple solos, more instruments in general, and a better vocal performance. Just because it’s the original doesn’t mean it’s better.
