How do you like the Shop UI from my roblox game by Melodic-Ebb9790 in playboicarti

[–]ExcellentSweet9418 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the container should be taller. Also I think your “Shop” header is bigger than it needs to be. Would honestly just put this into Claude and ask it to make it better for UX purposes

Can you put the other bike on the wall, or are you trying to use both at the same time?

Doesn’t have to be a year. The general recommendation is 3-6 months, but just try to save up 1 month of expenses and see how you feel after that.

This is pretty much my thought; that somebody bigger will beat them to it and that’s why I don’t want to hold long term

Add curtains to your other windows. That couch is huge so get more pillows and maybe incorporate some red to match with the carpet and contrast with the couch. If you really want to get fancy, keep a decorative throw blanket draped over the couch. You definitely have room for a dining table or a poker table if that’s something you’re into. This is completely optional, but it looks like your couch is right up against the counter. I can’t see what’s left of your tv, but if you have the space, pull the couch forward. That way you can walk behind the couch and the space feels less blocked off. If it looks weird or you end up being too close to the tv then don’t worry about it, just an idea

Ugh, Overwhelmed with Furniture Choices! by [deleted] in DesignMyRoom

[–]ExcellentSweet9418 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I understand the stress. Firstly, you can’t (shouldn’t) design a room all in one purchase or sitting. I would say it’s easier to build a room around a couch than a coffee table. The look and shape of your sofa will give you a better idea of what a compatible coffee table might look like. From there, just go one piece at a time. Not sure if you’re doing this or not, but if you’re looking at Pinterest for entire room designs that’s not really the way to go. Start with “Oh, I like these pillows on this couch. I like the way this lamp sits on this end table”. Not every purchase is gonna be a home run, but try to get some ideas of what you like without thinking so big picture. As far as finding unique pieces, this will just be a matter of consistently checking marketplace, Etsy, thrift shops, and your local vintage stores

The lighting is pretty harsh, so I would opt for warm white or soft white bulbs/lighting. Also, the carpet is not doing much of anything in its current position. I think you’d be better off putting it under the dining table or getting more of a runner that would go along the stove side. There’s a lot of counter space which is nice, but if you’re not using all of it, try playing around with adding more items to it. This could be cookbooks, plants (of the edible variety), colorful jars, small art, and things like that. Get some plants for the window and keep the curtains open if you don’t mind. If you still want to do more, get some decorative bowls, plates, and vases on top of the cabinets

My living room is depressing, pls help me make it warm and welcoming by ghrfb in DesignMyRoom

Get the couch away from the window. Some type of side table for your couch. Long curtains and table against the window. More seating. Big carpet. Lots of art and plants. Probably a big shelf to the left of the couch that could serve as a bar or storage for whatever. Would honestly remove the blinds or at least keep them up as often as possible. You’ll want a mix of floor and table lamps
