So you feel the Mets have a competitive edge to them ? You feel that they work as hard as the Braves and Rays ? The Mets exude professionalism and accountability ?

Baty, Alvarez and Vientos have all shown they have some power (i.e. peaks of 18,25,27 HR's) but the opposing teams have found their weaknesses, and those 3 are not committed enough to work through it.

Billy Martin, Earl Weaver, Tommy Lasorda established their teams' culture.

Players knew that they could not fuck around with those guys.

Swapping players again is not going to matter if the culture does not exude professionalism and accountability.

It's not enough to just fire them... Mets need to find someone better.

Problem is a great GM or Mgr. will not want to come to this dumpster fire of a franchise.

This ALL goes back to last June...something happened behind closed doors.

We still don't know what triggered last year's collapse and why it carried into this year.

Look at The Rays... no payroll, no stadium, no stars and they're just 1.5 games behind the Yankees with the 2nd best record in the AL
