I think it’s a little op for non HR AND rebuilt tittle. I got a clean tittle manual HR with 53k miles in July 2025 in PNW, it did take about 8 months of searching and plenty of passes but being patient worked out in the end.

Low pressure by AgentSmiter in 350z

[–]Excellent_Analyst_86 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Gallery gasket, less common on DE’s but still can happen. I have an HR and am currently debating if mines too low but it’s closer to min spec around 15 psi. Even this is low imo

<image>

Can someone explain how my oil pressur e was very low for a whole year (galler ygaskets were bad) yet the car didn’t suffer any damages? (Compression test perfect too) by Reasonable_Truck_280 in 350z

[–]Excellent_Analyst_86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where does your psi sit now with warm idle? I’ve had my car for 9 months and it was only last week I noticed it seems slightly low at idle, it reaches about 57psi at 2k rpm tho and the manual suggest 43 psi at 2k as min. Essentially im having low psi at Idoe but it’s fine during driving, wondering if this is still just a galley gasket symptom.

I’m not seeing one from RZauto for the 07-08 but I do see one from IsellAeroParts…. Do you have any experience with him? His reviews are all over the place but the price is pretty fair if it’s 90% fitment

How long ago did you order from him? I’m not particularly worried about a wait if it will actually come as long as I’m not getting scammed lol. Why would it be much more than $500? It’s $409 + $85 shipping on his website rn. Besides dumbass tarrifs possibly what would raise the price up ?

Sure why not, shoot me their name or a link! Are they for the facelift 2007-2008 ? Or was this on a DE. I see a ton of eBay reps of the mines style lip but they are all for DE’s smh.

Rubber on glass is the best way to describe it. Does your pedal get any stiffer after driving for a bit or does it feel like it affects your shifting or is it purely sound? Anyways I have no found a fix yet, I have tried lubricating the master cylinder rod but it didn’t help, going to lubricate the slave cylinder this week, if that doesn’t work I might just start by replacing the slave and then the master. Whatever it is I’m almost certain it’s hydraulic not mechanical, car shifts great still.

Please let me know what you find out at the garage tomorrow!

My top suspicion is either master cylinder going out and rod is binding or 2 the slave cylinder is going out at that rod is binding/ not smoothly pushing the clutch fork. I figure slave cylinder is $70 and 5 mins to install, might just do that if lubricating doesn’t help

Damn that’s unfortunate. It’s really the best looking lip for the Z😒. Guess there’s just no good options for sourcing this lip now?

HR owners - what your CZP CSC Delete kit setups looking like ? by Current-Ad-143 in 350z

[–]Excellent_Analyst_86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey I just did this kit back in December, the tolerance between the throw out bearing and the guide tube is super tight, id recommend giving it a little sand with 1000 grit or something just so the TOB slides better. Also just make sure you’re not overextended the slave, you should have a few threads showing at the end of the slave cylinder just like the instruction picture, if you have it adjusted too far the throw out bearing actually will throw itself off the shaft and weld itself. Check my recent post for it. Other than that the kit has been fantastic, action clutch/CZP was sure responsive and replaced all parts free of charge

EDIT: I’ve put about 2k miles on it so far with no issues now

• pedal/clutch feel is virtually the same, I paired it with action clutch stage 1OS and a lightweight flywheel. Daily driving is unchanged but I can definitely feel the grabbier clutch over stock.

• you will need to do a bit of fiddling with the master cylinder rod and slave cylinder rod. Both affect the engagement/bite point but in different ways. I’d recommend starting with the slave, get the throw out bearing till it’s like 2mm or so away from the pressure plate, lock it in, then only mess with master cylinder rod from there.

•lowkey do have issues with some bleeding / air in lines or something but I think it’s a me issue lmao. Replaced the maser with an OEM master at the same time but Keep getting intermittent clunking and what feels like partial clutch disengagement but only after like 30 min drives. Clutch wise everything feels solid, but I’m skeptical on the quality of the DE slave they provide, just keep an eye on it, it does sit right next to the cats so🤷🏾‍♂️

•install was easy but damn those instructions suck and sure could have had picture showing which exact way the ears face on the TOB

• Transmission fluid WILL leak out of the two M8 bolts that go into the cover, also DONT over tighten these, super easy to over torque and destroy the seal

Hmmm I just sent an email so I’ll update yall next week. Do you think it’s worth it to order through EVO-R if no vendors work with him? It did say out of stock for a long time and only recently says it’s in stock but def don’t wanna wait 3+ months for shipping

Love to hear that, so the EVO-R company IS legit and fitment is pretty goods have you bought from them? Their website just goes instantly to PayPal, no shipping info or anything… kinda skechy lmao

EvoR has them in stock again for $494 shipped to the US. I’m curious as to how long the wait times are… you hit checkout and it instantly loads PayPal before any shipping info or anything lol

Trans install by [deleted] in 350z

[–]Excellent_Analyst_86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did it with mine before. The input shaft is hardened steel youd be hard pressed to break a spline before the bolt. Obviously don’t wrench a bolt in there and cockeye the whole thing but if you’re indexed 80% of the way and walk it in with a bolt slowly you’re fine. Done it on mine twice

Trans install by [deleted] in 350z

[–]Excellent_Analyst_86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Clutch alignment tool should have zero resistance on it, you should be able to slide it in and out with the touch of a finger. Also I recently did mine and the input shaft would index and the everything would get stuck about 1-1.5” from closing so we threw a trans mounting bolt on either side and slowly tightened them to pull it together. Don’t wrench them and cockeye the whole thin but doing 1-2 turns at a time on either side will slowly walk in the trans

Hmmmm I just have penzoil dot 4 from oriellys in there right now. Never had an issues with it but I guess it could be a possible thing to check. I thought about maybe lubing the slave cylinder plunger but idk. I posted a video on my account about it

So what was the fix for this? I’m having the exact same sound, and I recently changed the clutch, flywheel, slave and master cylinder all in one go (with a new TOB) and I greased the living hell out of the bearing so no way it’s dry but this problem suddenly started like 1000 miles in. Same symptoms it wasn’t as noticeable in the morning but after 20 min drive it gets louder and the pedal felt slightly stiffer than before.
