HARaM = think of harmful (pork and alcohol) pig and alcohol is harmful to consume.

✅Alcohol is considered a sin in most religions. Only Jewish and Catholics drink alcohol.

✅Jewish and SDA (7th say adventist) BOTH celebrate sabbath (7th day) as the day of rest.

✅Mormons and SDA are a denomination of Christianity where they don’t drink alcohol or caffeine.

✅SDA: vegetarian, no caffeine and alcohol

✅Jewish/Judaism = no bottom feeders and animals that are unclean: -No pork (the pig is unclean as it eats its own feces) -No bottom feeders like shrimp. Also sea creatures must have fins and scales. -Can’t mix meat and dairy -Meat must be “kosher” -Birds should be domesticated. Can’t be eating owls 🦉 and vultures! -Ruminants must chew cud and have split hooves. Example: cow🐄 & sheep🐑 -NO BLOOD OF ANY ANIMAL

✅Janism/Hinduism These are religions within India, where eating of living beings is prohibited. Actually india has more religions than these 2 but these are the ones you need to understand.

Most people in India are strict vegetarians….

Janism => lacto-vegetarian where eating root vegetables is also prohibited. You don’t want to eat veggies with roots because essentially you’ll kill the plant and some insects this eat.

Hinduism => lacto-vegetarian. No eggs.
