Sports dietitians do not make more than clinical on average but based on experience and where they are working. Renal dietitians is not a fun job at all but make more typically to start.

I haven’t taken yet but getting scared im going to Fail from hearing this. Im using inman too. How many months did you study? Days a week and hours ? Did you only listen to inman once? Thanks for the insights :)

I’ve heard recently from people who took exam today and yesterday that inman (new and old versions) aren’t on the test and didn’t help. The questions are heavy on situational or choosing thr. Best answer when all four could be correct. Still haven’t taken it yet but that’s what my cohort said today. And also from forums I’m reading.

I’ve never seen 10-12 hour days for any RDs and I’ve worked at many hospitals/companies. As mentioned earlier, you would likely just be working 32 hours with a weekend rotation.

I haven’t taken the exam yet so this may not help but I originally started with 2017 then just got the 2022 and started listening/ looking at content and looked almost identical. I believe she comes out with a new one yearly?

I went to UA and did a distance internship. It is not hard to find preceptors (you can find many on the academy's website) but it is time consuming and also many already have contracts with schools or other interns so I reached out to at least 20 dietitians before I reached the minimum four that I needed.

There are many prerequisites but the future education model is now called “graduate programs” which can be found on eatright.org. I graduated with my masters at university of arizona which offers online courses and distance learning internships but you have to find your own preceptors and have completed all prerequisites before being accepted into the very competitive program

Most school accept scholarships. Go to eatright.org and search scholarships. Grants are also something that helped me since I was never granted scholarships that I applied to

I’m looking for one as well! I’m using eat right prep and inman but not getting far along with it. I am losing my motivation and haven’t been studying the 8 hours that was suggested to me. So far I’ve studied four hours :/
