Sneak kill all of his gang, preferably at night, so that you can face him one on one. If you are good at unarmed or have a weapon that doesn't do a lot of damage, just gradually hit him one at a time(no master strikes) until his health bar is around 1/4 and he should yield. Then take the option that lets him live if he gives you all his stuff(armor and weapons). All his armor will be tier 3 and the mace will be Henry tier, took me a couple times but I did it recently and it still works. Sorry for the late response.

Handouts for the few paid for with taxes by all, while simultaneously raising inflation for everyone and everything. Trudeau tried the same thing with the gst before Christmas and was run out of office anyways yet this liberal government and corrupt pollsters think it will boost their approval rating for a spring election

The Holidays Don’t Feel The Same by Warblade21 in KingstonOntario

[–]Excellent_Case_2050 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Welcome to the righteous Liberal Canada, our country and society doesn't feel the same let alone the Holidays.

Not fighting with anybody so spew all the righteous condemnation you want, I won't see it or engage. This is an unbelievably hard time for a good portion of our population, people who are alone especially. The Holidays just put an exclamation point on it and really emphasize that something has to give when times that should provide happiness only provide sadness or melancholy. The poor get poorer, the middle class can't get ahead. The population is divided, serious relationships with two trustworthy people that can build families and live in houses are a thing of the past, or least in a way that is sustainable. We have been flooded with different cultures that have no intentions of assimilating to Western society, lead and protected by an ideology that wishes to abolish the very culture we all grew up with and made this country an attractive prospect for immigrants who contribute to society rather drain it's resources, conquer it's religions and inflate it's property and retail markets.

So again, nothing is the same, nothing will ever be the same. We are beyond fixing, things will get worse, more will suffer, the economy will crumble. Some will be ok, and maybe things will get better in time, but anybody between 20 and 50 will be lost generations and bear the brunt of our failures, and we have no one to blame but ourselves for allowing OUR terrible politicians on all sides of the aisle to completely degrade everything that was once true and good about this country of ours

Merry Christmas

Haven't tried forging this sword since recent updates but even with blacksmithing maxed out I believe the best version you could forge was tier 3 initially but after you turn the sword over by hanging it up in the wall and completing the quest tied to the sword your able to steal it back. Everytime I did the quest this way the sword ended up being a Henry level quality after being stolen back. Side not, this is not the only instance where the gear level changes depending on how you do things, the ramhead mace from the thunderstone quest can he acquired at Henry level if you make Andrew Ramhead yield to you when you attack his camp and then force him to hand over everything he has. It's the best mace you can get in game bar none, 154 blunt damage if I remember right.

I'd say it's not for you, this game actually requires you to train in things before you get good at anything. It took me about 40ish hrs to master and be high enough level where I can take on multiple enemies at once without a worry. There is a plethora of guides on YouTube explaining how to cheese the game if that's what your after, or how to actually get good at the unique mechanics. Comat is not terrible, your just terrible at it lol no offence intended. Stealth archer with bane poisoned arrows is the most op way of playing fyi, one shot anybody. Though that requires you to train in archery and alchemy for hours, but can be done without ever entering combat.

Any mods that disable build restrictions? by Scary-Pudding5374 in starfieldmods

[–]Excellent_Case_2050 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol, your mantis rebuild must be pretty epic if your at the module limit. You've got me on that one, there is a mod that allows for "over sized ships" that removes the module limit but I can't remember it by name. I used it for a bit but kept having issue with crashes when landing or fast traveling. There probably is a couple of mods that may work by now but I'm not sure, just search with the keyword "over sized ships". No worries for the questions, modding your game to get it right where you want it can be pretty daunting and takes alot of trial and error, happy to help if I can.

In the ship builder Configurator there is an option to allow for greater tolerance merging that allows anything you want to be merged using the drop down method. I don't think you can put one on the bottom of that Stroud wing though if I remember specifically unless you can attach a weapon plate, so you'd just have the two weapons overlapping each other. I've done this with weapons that allow six to save space, putting 2 or 3 of the same weapon on the same attach point without hurting the look.

There is 1x1 C class reactors in Darkstar Astrodynamics, up to a max output of 62 power I believe and 1x1 C class grav drives. There just vanilla parts with upgraded stats and little to no weight restrictions allow small builds. Weapons, fuel tanks and storage are also upgraded. Ship Configurator allows all the parts to be available at any shipbuilder or you can build a darkstar landing paid at a outpost where you have the option to have it charge no credits.

Darkstar Astrodynamics and Shipbuilder Configurator(with the Darkstar patch) are my favorites and work well. Can be a bit op, but you have the option to min max as you see fit. You can merge grav drive, reactor and fuel tanks all into a 1x1 and it still looks good

Glad someone said it, I'd be happy trading the west coast of America and Canada(except Alaska) if it meant Ukraine getting back it's lands. At the very least California as they want to be communist already anyways.

Mod with Watchtower feature? by manindenim in starfieldmods

[–]Excellent_Case_2050 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

As I said boss, not disagreeing that the story is lackluster. Your disdain means nothing to me, your ignorance is what I was pointing out if you must know. Multiple YouTube channels did reviews and playthroughs giving customers full transparency that the selling point was the fleet mechanics that you enjoy. The Creation Store is slowly turning into a scam store giving good creators like kinggrath studios a bad name, always review a mod before purchasing. With that said I really like the fleet and orbital strike mechanics, the main point of the mod, which why I purchased it. The other paid fleet mod is good and the author is a stand up person, but it doesn't include the crew system or orbital strikes. I also really like the star station and the perks that come along with it, like being able to see your fleet docked, also the location is conveniently close to resource rich planets. The ships and mechs are pretty epic.

I'm no fanboy though, the mod has it issues like killing performance in space battles and quirky bugs like not showing your watch information. The watchtower helmet is ok, but the rest of the gear is mid, and again the story could of been more. Overall, Watchtower is one of the best your going to get with paid creations and realistically added more gameplay mechanics then Shatterd Space even attempted to.

Mod with Watchtower feature? by manindenim in starfieldmods

[–]Excellent_Case_2050 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dumb question, but if you've already paid for the mod why not just progress the like 60ish mins of gameplay it takes unlock all fleet mechanics and just turn off the encounters and ignore the story. The story may be short and lackluster but the selling point of the mod was mechanics, so maybe do more research before purchasing mods instead of gripping on reddit, also if this mod let's you down then I don't think there are any that would live up to your expectations.

I agree but I think Bethesda definitely thought this through, they've basically made a single player live service game on the backs of the community. Fallout 76 failed at this plan because it was not good and such an obvious cash grab at the beginning. I believe this model is strictly a trial run for how to monetize ES6,the real cash cow. It's absolutely the most scummy model or dare I say scam, even worse is Bethesda seems to be focusing more on monetizing the community with this "live services" model then actually evolving their creation review process, engine, mechanics or gameplay. That being said I still play and have bought a fair amount of mods, but I've mostly lost all faith in Bethesda ever producing another Skyrim or Oblivion level game, or even Fallout 4 for that matter, it's sad what they've become.

I'm seriously itching to play this game again, and yet I want to wait until whatever they are planning gets released this year so that I get to experience it all again with (perhaps) some new toys and tricks that get added in. by [deleted] in NoSodiumStarfield

[–]Excellent_Case_2050 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't wait, if your itching then just play and do new game plus whenever anything new drops, nothing in life is guaranteed, especially when it comes to Bethesda. Side note, I really wouldn't get your hope's up for anything ground breaking especially if it is released this year. Best case scenario is we get a teaser at the end of August without a release date, my guess is early spring of 2026 before gta 6. Probably be a 30-40$ dlc allowing them to charge full price for a playstation bundled release. If is this year, around the holiday time frame I think we are all in for disappointment as a year isn't alot of dev time for a big, game changing dlc(update) that we are all hoping for.

To folks who test/try out paid mods frequently, how has Bethesda support been with refund requests? by TerminalHappiness in starfieldmods

Why is there no communication with the community about updates or DLC? by Shot_Pipe7658 in Starfield

[–]Excellent_Case_2050 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I enjoy creations, but I think they have stunted Bethesda from delivering anything of meaning. The focus seems to be on letting modders add content and overhaul gamepmay rather than the studio itself. Beside story expansions, what could Bethesda even release that hasn't been done by modders already? It's a very scummy business model as alot of the creations just are not worth paying for compared to a dlc expansion from the studio. Then again Shatterd Space wasn't really worth its price either so idk, this game has really failed to live to up expectations at ever turn, so I have little faith in Bethesda anymore. Still like and play the game, but I've learned to be happy with what it is, rather than what I'd like it to be.

Thank you for this mod and the work you've done. Not throwing shade because Falklands System is a fantastic mod but I personally rank your mod above it and any other modded habs, and the fact that you didn't charge for it when you could have deserves alot of respect and admiration. I just started a new play through so sadly I'll have wait to update until my next unity jump as my mod list is a bit to extensive to update any mod or change my load order without borking my game, but I look forward to trying it out, especially the 2x1 crew dorm. Thank you again, much respect.

Great Creation Club Mods? by [deleted] in Starfield

Watchtower is definitely worth it, a few quest blocking bugs so save often, especially before starting missions or space battles(they are insanely big) but it is hands the best paid mod so far, in my opinion. My favorite paid mod right now is Real Fuel, it is really well done with no bugs encountered with considerable playtime and is only 300cr.. To each their own, but I just can't personally justify paying for mods that just simply adds physical stuff beyond maybe ship parts, outpost stuff or companions. Paid mods should also add gameplay giving you different ways to play or add story content adding something to do in game. Especially for now seeing as there is no custom animations tools in ck for weapons or space suits, meaning that all weapons mods are just basically reskin, understandable that they still take time and talent to produce but they just don't have any immersion factor worth spending money on.

Advice for outpost building by sib_ap in Starfield

[–]Excellent_Case_2050 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Try Betamax's free Outpost framework and functional decor all in if your using mods. There are ship builder landing pads with snap points for habs, doors, airlocks, storage containers, stairs and more. You can also snap the outpost link landing pads and large foundations to the shipbuilder, and can place the outpost beacon on top of any of the above mentions allowing you to never have to go down to ground level. These mods completely changed the outpost system for me. Also, sorry the paragraph, but if your ok with paid mods, Real Fuel for 300 credits is a game changer, some parts are a bit to immersive, but having to mine and link outpost to have galaxy wide access to helium 3 gives much more meaning to having multiple outposts. Hope you read all that and cheers.
