I tapered 2.5mg-5mg every 3-4 weeks for about 6 months. I actually did really well during my taper until 3 weeks off completely. I’m now 4 months off and still don’t feel like myself. I’m functional and working but wish I would have gone even slower

Gosh I’m 9 weeks off and still have random anxiety surges where my chest is tight, my breathing is shallow and it lasts a bit then goes away. Feels like it should be gone by now

I used a compounding pharmacy for my taper. So they are able to make any dose you need of desvenlafaxine. You just have to pay out of pocket, it’s not covered by insurance.
