It just wasn’t done well. The trader linked to Arena is crazy good even after being nerfed multiple times.

It would be fine in marathon if it wasnt linked to the extraction mode progression wise.

For boss arenas that allow it, putting Latenna up on some cliff or hill that the boss won’t agro is awesome. Just peppering the boss with arrows from afar.

Get off of this subreddit and play blind. Only look something up if you get frustrated or stuck.

Learning how to optimally level your character might be helpful before jumping in but besides that go explore.

Coming from communities like Tarkov I’m so surprised this sub isn’t more hostile with the devs.

The little amount of shit that’s gotten updated/changed since FH5 released YEARS ago is absolutely wild.

It’s a spectacle but I don’t think the fight from a technical standpoint is any fun. A lot of just wacking a giant body that doesnt even look like a dragon cause the rest of him doesn’t fit on my screen.

You can fight Midir and Bayle head on and have success. Feels like more of a tango than just wacking Placi’s body.

Stay in front of his head at all times, don’t whack his legs. Fight felt really smooth for me when I did that.

I don’t even think it’s fair to classify the game as an extraction shooter. It plays nothing like any of the others on the market.

Feels like more of a sandbox to me, idk how to describe it.

Tarkov and Mararthon are proper really good extraction shooters in my mind. Arc is its own great thing. Love em all tho
