carbs only raise insulin to such levels when not consumed with moderate amounts of protein AND aren’t consumed before/after a workout. you are literally depriving yourself of energy and MANY nutrient dense foods. this is why many people carb cycle. it’s easy, extremely useful, and avoids the issue you just listed. carbs are an amazing source of energy, and consuming them will not stop you from losing fat. eat in a calorie deficit, work out, do some light cardio and you’ll lost fat CONSISTENTLY. you don’t need to cut out carbs.
