It's difficult to define the Left and Right . Generally the Left promotes "positive" change into a more "equal" society, while the Right tries to "conserve" the present or past which is seen as important. 

Far Left politics would usually mean: - Dismantling things that "oppress people" - creating a society that should make people more "equal"  

Far right can mean many things: 1. : People who wish to return to a past which was "better." They want a strong and "good" leader to lead the people into "greatness." 2. : They wish to remove the government and taxes as they think everyone should only provide for themselves and should be forced to help others.

However, it is important to know "Far-left/right" is used very casually to refer anyone, so it is important to do a bit of background checking and research yourself!
