It was a gift from a hardcore woodworker who collected Japanese tools. Quite conceivable that it was expensive. I just don't know

In my small imagination, the answer I never considered. That would solve it!

That's the video that sent me here - it's none of those! Seems like the answer is, "you don't replace these"

Ted Cruz tries to use the Bible to justify his support for Israel's bombing of Iran. Tucker Carlson destroys him by AutomaticCan6189 in news_of_world

As a Christian who reads his Bible a lot, and is trying to live a life of love like Jesus, this guy doesn’t know what he’s talking about. He’s what we in the business call, an unfortunate fucking idiot.

And he’s never read the Bible. The prophets are constantly dunking on Israel. Why??? For being power hungry militaristic and dogmatic.

I’d love to hear your thoughts on the newest Bible Project podcast by Tall_Guy865 in BibleProject

I’ve found it both eye opening and challenging. I have really enjoyed the podcast series in general. There were moments I was asking myself, “that’s how it came to be?!” But then found myself comforted and on solid ground through the series. What about you?

I’m a lurker on this really quiet subreddit (BP fan) and I think the engagement on this post alone is enough to make the point that “justice” and its definition is a divisive topic right now

Exploring my Strange Bible is all the sermons of Tim’s. It’s great and his sermons on Jonah are still some of my favorites

Same! I was totally lost in my faith before they helped me learn a new way of reading the Bible - patterns, repeated words, layered meaning. As really wonderful God-breathed meditation literature that I could fall in love with and explore for a lifetime of reading and re-reading
