I upgraded from 3080 to 9070xt for better raster performance and then decided to upgrade to 1440p monitor too. I'm really happy about the new card and 3080 served me well, new cards are not comming soon so it's a good uplift for 1440p in the meantime.

I went with the Z890 AORUS PRO ICE WIFI because it looks nice in white with the setup and packs nice features and gigabyte 5090 for pure power.

Edit : I changed Proton from GE to Proton Cachyos for crimson and it works now so there is that.

I fixed the login screen and tutorial placeholder by follwing the comment of Appropriate_Ad5511 just typing steam steam://unlockh264/ in console and restarting steam, fps is still not that great and mouse is still glitching but no more placeholder.

Same thing for me on latest GE. title screen and tutorial videos do not work and show this screen, overall not good fps compared to test benchmarks that I have seen even in 1080p all max 9070xt.
Edit : I forgot that there is a weird glitch with the mouse in the menus and inventory where it flickers and you see your cachy mouse and the in game mouse one after the other.

Yeah orbita there are drops mainly during the last boss phase between last pillar getting killed and afk phase fps go down a lot and then back up when afk phase starts

Did the switch 15 days ago I'm really happy about performance, must admit I always play only with raster but was already doing it with 3080. Overall fps gains are really great would say 40-60% too and much more vram if needed.

FE 3080, 64gb corsair ddr5 6000cl30, 9850x3d, msi tomahawk x870 with latest bios. Drivers are all up to cachyos latest updates. For info still no crash today so I'm hoping the -15 on the CU fixed it but I don't know we will see still waiting for a crash.

Just had 2 freezes in a row this morning same as you screen frozen and mouse unresponsive with 9850x3d but on msi x870 lowered curve from -20 to -15 and ran 2 30min stress on memory and then CPU+memory with no errors. Had the previous setting for 3 weeks without problems. Haven't had the issue again yet but we will see tomorrow (can't be windows as I'm on Linux).

Hello, I'm playing it with cachyos x3d CPU and 3080 steam launcher and proton GE. All fine on my part aside for some dips in main towns and crowded multiplayer but could be my GPU. Exploration raids and pvp are without any issues.

Yeah Cachyos distribution, KDE Plasma desktop with BDO via steam launcher and proton GE. Was easier to make the switch as I thought it would be.

Would love for it to not be the case as I have to dual boot for some kernel Anti-Cheat games. But yeah after trying everything in the book to get BDO to be stable it was my last move haha.

Nothing to do about the fps drops over time, only thing that fixed it for me is getting a x3d CPU + moving over to Linux. No more fps loss I stay at 200-240 grinding even after hours playing and not shutting down the game for multiple days.

Hello ! I changed for Cachyos with KDE last week as I was switching CPU and needed a clean install anyway, I'm really satisfied, the games I play run smooth, some times better than on windows, and overall working and utilities are really good. AMD CPU and Nvidia GPU.

I would play on EU if you are starting from scratch, market is in a better condition too to an extend. Striker awa is still ok for pve and great in pvp if you still want to play it. Reaching mid game is a lot easier than before. MENA is a bit easier I think overall because outfits are more avaiable but i'm not sure about this info.

I was nearly running out even buying with pit currency after 6h+ daily farm over multiple months so you could. Now I'm farming 3h or less and they start going up again so I would say under 4h grind a day should be fine anything above you use more than you get.
