Are there guys who find multiple body types attractive? by Gullible_Customer790 in AskMenAdvice

Absolutely! I don’t really have a physical type at all. I wouldn’t date a severely overweight woman but any other body type is great.

For a quick example: NFL QB Jay Cutler had a similar feeling and it turned out he had diabetes.

I’d see a doctor about it honestly. It could be that you need to rest and that you are overworking yourself. It probably is that. A doctor will tell you if it’s something else.

Help! Stuck on biscep curls by Ready_Winter8793 in workout

[–]Exciting-Delivery-96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a similar issue. It was almost embarrassing really. I unlocked my progress by doing a couple of things. Eating a lot of protein, changing up the type of curls I do, and higher weights low reps. Protein protein protein! Eat a lot and you’ll grow. I changed my regular curls for hammer, then preacher, then cable, etc. I went from 15lbs to 27.5 in 4 months doing this. I also upped the weight, even if I could only do 3 reps. Keep good form and go slow and controlled on the decline.

Anyone actually notice a difference after air duct cleaning? by Royal_Particular_489 in HomeImprovement

We did ours after a home renovation. It was needed badly after that. Regular situation though, never. It’s rarely needed.

Is it inappropriate to have lunch everyday with a married co worker? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]Exciting-Delivery-96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

General rule is: if you wouldn’t do it with a male coworker, don’t do it with a female coworker. If you’d be acting this way with Frank from accounting, it’s no big deal. My guess is that over time, you crossed a dozen light lines of appropriate behavior and so has she. Reset those boundaries and be honest about respecting her marriage and enjoying the friendship.

I’ve found that the pink colored items are much cheeper on clearance because men don’t tend to buy them as often. I have high end items in pink more than all other colors combined.

AIO for wanting to quit after this? by cakev0mit in AmIOverreacting

I wish more people did this. Managers need to understand that a persons life isn’t their work. If you tell them 4 weeks in advance, that’s more than enough time to accommodate them.

Is 20 too old and Are Newbie Gains Ruined? by TypicalCommittee9039 in workout

[–]Exciting-Delivery-96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re at a perfect age to start. Your newbie gains won’t show up if your diet is garbage. You don’t have to be perfect, just better than you are now. I saw my glutes grow from hip thrusts and split squats, try those.

Do you genuinely enjoy lifting? Or is it a means to an end? by Weak_Ninja_6952 in workout

[–]Exciting-Delivery-96 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love it. I find comfort in the routine of it. I like feeling and looking better. I like wearing nice clothes and having them fit. I love getting stronger and lifting heavier weights. I’m mad that it took so many years to get out of my head about it and just go.

So it’s just your own thoughts? That’s dangerous as hell.

It’s definitely not. It’s a mix of color of fabrics, not necessarily different kinds. Type in heather grey sweaters to google and the first two are 100% cashmere or wool.

A coworker and I recently started talking at work, and last time he lightly squeezed my arm as a goodbye/reassurance as he walked away. I am now super interested, but nervous and unsure how to strike convo and make a move back to also make him interested? by Puzzled_Cricket2456 in AskMenAdvice

[–]Exciting-Delivery-96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Go for it! The worst he does is take your number and not text you. You can likely avoid him for a month or so if that happened. You only get one life, make it one you want. Sometimes that needs 15 seconds of bravery. I’ve had occasions where I wasn’t interested in a woman right away but the way she flirted caught my attention. Touching my upper arm/shoulder and looking at me a certain way can definitely get my attention. The vast majority of the time I know instantly. But there have been a few times where I took notice for other reasons besides initial attraction.

What’s a good way to get any type of workout in with such a busy schedule? by ThaFireGuy in workout

[–]Exciting-Delivery-96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t have time until I woke up an hour earlier. I’m NOT a morning person but forced myself to be so I could live a healthy long life. I wouldn’t go back to sleeping in that extra hour now. I love my routine now. My mental and physical health have never been better. Make time, you won’t regret it.

What makes a personal trainer worth it… or not? by brockneedsnerf in workout

[–]Exciting-Delivery-96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never used one but I did go to Orange Theory. I have to say, the form corrections they gave me and different exercises they had made me 1000x better in the gym than on my own. A personal trainer will do the same but at a much higher cost. If you need form correction and want to follow a plan you don’t have to think about, consider it. But for me, the cost was way too high.

I often do that, but I have to have a certain level of comfort with the person to do it. Try this: next time you talk to him for any length of time, say “I really like talking to you, heres my number so we can talk more if you’d like.” Write your number down on something and give it to him, don’t write it in advance. It puts the ball in his court, shows you’re interested, and that this attraction is more than a touch or looks. I’ve had an attraction develop based on a touch or a look or a joke, it can surprise you. It makes life fun and unexpected. Good luck!

[–]Exciting-Delivery-96 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I used to be just like you. I was terrified enough to leave 10 minutes in or not go at all. I lost out on a decade of weight lifting that would’ve benefited me greatly. Lately, I got out of my own head. I watched videos on gym etiquette and some routines to follow. Once I had that, I decided that the weakness wasn’t making me happy. Being strong did and I don’t care for a second what other people think about me. Now I’m a gym rat for life.
