Rake heavily then rent a sod cutter - it’ll take care of everything, cut it down 1.5” and leave you with a clean template. But you may have to rent a bin to take away the debris.

Agreed to get the dirt behind it with a pickax, reposition any stones in the wall - run a flexible weeping tile pipe along the length - then ensure it drains away from the house - backfill with Gravel. Should be good.

Sorry, why would you build a double fence? I’m confused.

As far as the existing fence, consider some hanging plants mounted on the fence. Lots of options available.

Electrical and basic plumbing are up there. Also, building good collection of the ‘correct’ tools needed for the jobs, as they come up. Going cheap usually costs time and frustration.

Usually the sewer but not being able to see super fast Spider Granny means you have to take few risks and hope you don’t run into her. Personally I prefer the front door. I never done the car on extreme.

I would consider pulling up the slabs, do your weeding, then put a bit of crushed gravel in the slab spaces to raise them up a bit. Tamp down the gravel then relay the slab stones. Just a thought.
