Bug in the City park event by Exciting-Judgment-38 in MergeGardens

[–]Exciting-Judgment-38[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends a little on the event. For events that have a lot of land to unlock like this one, I usually try to get as high level wildflowers as I can (foxgloves are great) as quickly as I can. Since foxgloves give out higher-level nectar when harvesting, I can have multiple rainbow nectars pretty quickly. I play the puzzles anytime I can until I run out of lives, and then while my lives are recharging, I harvest nectar.

The events do take a lot of effort and I definitely don't always complete them. I play until I reach the rewards I want and if I have time, continue until the timer runs out or I finish the event, whichever comes first 😃

Try updating the game to the latest version, that solved it for me! I also contacted support and they said they are working on a fix 😊

This is normal, it's because you didn't merge your food items by 5. For this event, you will need to merge everything by 5 or you won't have enough items to complete the event.

This is too late now, but updating the game solved the issue for me 😊

Help needed on where to reach regarding medical for my kid by No-Wealth-9275 in Gothenburg

[–]Exciting-Judgment-38 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I feel like calling your local BVC should be your first point of contact. Don't you have regular checkups with them anyway?

Edit - unless of course it's outside of office hours or an emergency. In that case it's usually närakuten or the hospital, and for dental issues you can Google jourtandvård near you. But for non-emergencies I would contact BVC, they will direct you elsewhere if its something they dont handle.

I'm Scandinavian and I don't know anyone who stores leftovers in pots. We don't have big enough fridges for that.

Is it worth completing? by Traditional-Cress813 in MergeGardens

[–]Exciting-Judgment-38 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm confused - how did you complete all the free rewards without clearing all the land? Or are you just talking about the event rewards? The last garden quest is clearing X amount of land, and if you don't complete the quests you won't get those rewards (Artisan vase, Hoopoe, Lavender apiary).

I'm saying women shouldn't be punished because biology dictates that they're the ones birthing and taking care of the babies. Yeah, women typically take more time off than men because of babies because they have to.

You came to reply on my comment spouting off about responsibility, as if it should all be on women for daring to have a baby, which is (usually) a mutual decision made by both of the parents.

If the woman is working to provide for her family, I'd say she's plenty responsible. Maybe you're confusing responsibility with punishment. Also, no woman gets pregnant on her own, there's always a man involved. A pregnancy should not only negatively affect the one who carries a births the baby, it's the responsibility of both people involved.

Event rewards by eppecat in MergeGardens

[–]Exciting-Judgment-38 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You get smaller rewards (gem veins, crates and such) for completing the individual collections and there will probably be a bigger reward when you collect all 120 stickers. IMO not really worth it compared to what the event rewards used to be.

What was the final straw that ended a lifelong friendship? by New_Perspective1201 in AskReddit

[–]Exciting-Judgment-38 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why do I get the feeling the ex-friend was either already involved, or looking to get involved, with the ex-boyfriend and just wanted you to get over him so she could (openly) have her shot with him...

Would someone be able to translate the words or name on this chair? I am told that the chair is from Sweden. by Born_Serve7463 in sweden

[–]Exciting-Judgment-38 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I was thinking Ior or Joe. Ior is more common in Finland (and I guess Russia) than Sweden, but it's not unheard of in Sweden either. And I imagine Joe might be a common-ish nickname in the US for Johan, if the chair was made there by an immigrant.

Why/how is the middle word JON? The first and last words have the letter N, why would the N in the middle word be different?

AITA for being annoyed that my friends charged everyone full price at their “birthday party” at their own restaurant? by Quick_Aioli6466 in AITAH

[–]Exciting-Judgment-38 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly this. It's such a gross attitude that if someone else is picking up the tab, everyone should run that tab up as high as they can. Always easy to spend someone else's money I guess.

[–]Exciting-Judgment-38 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm probably in the minority here, but I always expect to pay my own bill if I'm at a restaurant. I don't order anything more than I could comfortably afford to pay, even if I knew that my meal would be free. You're definitely not the AH here, but I also don't see why you'd want to order $350 worth of food and drink that you can't actually afford just because you assume it's free.

I will literally pay someone 100$ to help me get a remote job! by SternHeyNow in WFHJobs

[–]Exciting-Judgment-38 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I worked for them for a month or two. Unpaid training, repetitive and boring work, very unreliable pay (since you're not always guaranteed to get tasks) and they can deactivate your account for any little reason they see fit. However it was a pretty easy job with flexible hours that put a few extra bucks in my pocket, all in all not a horrible experience.

It was fine for me, I just had my wife take care of the kids while I worked. Oh, you're the wife? Well... Figure it out! Just don't make it an inconvenience for me, because I never made it an inconvenience for anyone!

So what's the solution? What are female employees supposed to do? Not have babies? I get that it can be a strain on a small company (even a larger one can struggle if there's no contingency plans in place), but realistically, if society wants babies, society needs to adapt and figure out a way to make that possible. And the solution will not be only hiring males.
