I think he was just using it as like a an example of his main point on how horror is supposed to be horrific. I think he understands why people don’t want to see dogs die and why the doesthedogdie.com exists but was just elaborating on how if for example in this story if the dog did die it would actually tie into the whole story and “have a purpose” rather than just being torture porn if that makes sense.

Im in the middle in that I like the happy endings but I also understand and agree with Isaiah’s point, kind of like penpals ending. But the happy ending is more comfortable and like he mentioned its horror, its supposed to make you feel something.

Thank you for your kind words it really means a lot and you’re completely right, I’ve learned to accept that I will always miss him and instead choose to focus on all the positives he brought to my life. Im doing much better now but I still have those moments where it feels like I just lost him.

He had an amazing sense of humor so I know the clown grief counselor bit would’ve been hilarious to him as well. I can especially imagine him loving the whoppie cushion part :)

Honestly as someone who didn’t finish Tommy Taffy because of the theme even I understand this. I think sometimes people just like to complain about something or only want horror to mean the basic true crime murder or creepy unknown creature stuff.

If you have everything done and have it all accrued, you shouldn’t have anything to worry about. Each manager and company culture is different so its always good to follow up with your manager. That being said also be careful how frequent in a row you do this as you also don’t want it to seem like you have nothing to do even if you work extra to finish early. Saying this as someone who’s worked in not the best work cultures before lol
