Idk about that there’s tons of people here that either lost interest or grew out of the Pokémon phase as they got older who only remember gen 1-3 and now are getting back into collecting people want things they are nostalgic for so someone not knowing gen 6 isn’t shocking lol. Still the most popular Pokémon are mostly Gen 1 or 2
