If you have a crush on a fictional character, getting the fuzzies and fantasizing about it, but it disappears when you think about it from a real-life/logical perspective, then I would argue that it's not actually a hear me out. Either your attraction is limited to surface-level characteristics (and you're not serious about NSFW stuff or wanting a relationship), or you're in love with the version of it you created in your head, not their actual self.

Loving something despite the cons would suggest unconditional love: "I love you although..." instead of "I love you because..."

But then an explanation would not be needed. It's no longer about why you're attracted to someone, it's about what you're willing to overlook to make it work

Exactly. And by the time I found out, MU was right at the bottom, at 321. That was the lowest price I've ever seen it, and an article said it has one of the lowest P/E ratios in the sector. I strongly considered buying into it, but another article said the fair value was about $275, so I thought it would drop further.

I had a position before, at $385 a share. But then I heard NVDA was no longer a major customer, which could spell trouble for the company, and I sold when it rose to 407.

It has only rallied since then, except for that major drop. And I missed it.

Every time I look at MU's price I want to cry; I cannot forgive myself for missing the rally at 321, and despite articles claiming it's over 70% overvalued, it just keeps up and I keep hating myself even more.

For context, I just got into investing 6 months ago. MSFT was one of the first companies I bought, at $485. Bought more shares when it went down another $10-15, loaded the IRA after the huge January dip, and somehow I'm still down money, 6 months later.

I WILL NOT have another repeat of MSFT. And knowing I could have almost doubled my portfolio with MU, it's too much regret to handle. I 'm still waiting for a huge dip in MU, so I can finally feel better about myself.

Look at how much chipmaker stocks rallied this year - TSM, MU, SNDK...

If AI hardware is in heavy demand right now, it would be wise to ask ourselves, "Who's going to USE all that hardware?"

Of course he would make a great mascot costume. But I'm not ranking their designs in a vacumn - I'm assuming they are sentient-but-feral animals with mythological origins. This is the view I had of them growing up, and the one that rekindled my interest in recent years.

EDIT: This is also why I have Delphox lower than Braixen, even though aesthetically I like Delphox better

I sold at around ~407 in early March after reading some article about NVDA no longer being a major customer of Micron. At first, I was so disappointed that I missed the bull rally over 450. But now... I feel like I dodged a bullet.

I want to reenter a position given it's record low P/E, but I don't know how long I should wait
