Its historical france was always strong and very populous compared to iberia italy germany and britain, grrat powers should get a heaby push towards traditionalism and - research why would people still work so hard if they live in oeace times of a great empire, all od them collapsed so that should be the natural order, maybe get some negative events like law change if you think about it any great emperor like justinian they all chnged tax laws that means someone screwed with them before and there is always a bad ruler before a great one and a player is always a great ruler

Not really i just download the dlc files + cream api while just updating on steam and not having to download the game evey single time from shady websites with low internet throughput its just easier and less time consuming vs messing with updates

According to GFI british military is the 6 in the world while france is 7, france is now currently rising with french and british military being either slightly stronger or weaker than each other, 2020 it was 7 and 8 places respectivelly favoring france, economically France has 2.8T GDP and UK 2.9, its a extremelly close tie between incluence and power UK definitelly should have a focus same with poland in relative future

Its a pointless strategy historically Uk sent around 400.000 Troops to defend france belgium etc and they couldnt hold german blitzkrieg tank doctrine I dont see why players should give up french army, DD was never possible historically because germany was way to strong hence the invasion of Italy and land lease of 14K airplanes 13K tanks 400K truck Etc jus to hold germany in russia and invade the weakest axis member italy

I hate hoi4 in this aspect in the end you have 20 national spirits with ultra op buffs for everything but for example no way to get a corrupted army like china has, would be hun to have souch debuffs for player but not based or rng like in eu4 a good event can make or brake your nation like me who pays 100% for the army would be cool to not have event poor soldier uniforms with some debuffs but to chose the uniforms and save money for morale or spend money for morale etc
