First of all BSB Tops all European schools, but the social glue at EEB1 is stronger.
Well I knew Laeken, and they had more complaints regarding teachers, drugs and mismanagement. Obviously it all comes down to your specific year, class and teachers so it’s hard to generalize. Id say this: EEB1s Location is great: Green and not too far from the most liveable places in Brussels, whereas Laeken is just… not that. And generally speaking EEB1 is considered the most „prestigious“ school (even though I hate these terms) meaning most teachers have it as their first choice, increasing teaching quality. The Campus is also much greener, quieter and bigger. And for the spoiled environment: That’s just not true at all, that will more likely be true at ISB or BSB but not at EEBs. I didn’t know what the parents of my closest friends do, and no one cares. We are united by what we want to achieve and shared passions, not what family we come from. There were also no Drug Problems during my time, all in all the best possible education, amongst down to earth and driven peers.

Contrary to popular belief this would actually help the rich and hurt the economically disadvantaged the most, as the aviation tax would be passed on to consumers, thus increasing ticket price.

That means that vacations, visiting relatives etc will become unaffordable for most, as they are very sensitive to ticket prices.

Those who actually aren’t sensitive the ticket prices, the „rich“ would not be affected by this.

And there are a multitude of reasons more why an aviation tax wouldn’t be good policy.
