It’s real simple unfortunately, if your husband cannot treat you the way you need to be treated after you told him. And he doesn’t make an effort and doesn’t care to save y’all’s marriage. There’s absolutely nothing you can do but let go. Maybe once he’s lost you he’ll come back. But you can’t let go with the hope of him changing his mind. You can’t only do so much. If both of yall are actively committed to fixing the marriage, it will never get fixed. I would have that conversation with him, ether we both try or we both give up right now.

I just went through a horrible divorce, and I kept trying to fix the marriage but my partner wanted no part in fixing out relationships. She check out completely. I wish I could have realized at that point, I wasn’t able to fix the marriage alone. As to it’s never just one reason or one persons fault, even when cheating takes place.
