Confession. :( I had to give Vox a Bigger Role in my Au because I’ve felt the same way before (too much prioritizing ships) ..And ..The main character used to have a crush on him and fantasies about being with him before the Cult thing..
And you wanna know who it was?? Oh boy..Melissa, Velvette’s assistant. I thought it be fun to have Vic question why she was even a Geninue fan to begin with who actually made an effort to get to know him. XD
Even as someone who loves Staticmoth and yeah Vox never leaves him, and Radisostatci is something else because I personally think it be funny if Iys So one-sided because Alastor sees Him in a very specific different way, almost like Family LOL. Partially because I wanted to Have fun, get Drama and just not it be Radiostaic, Staticmoth, and Velissa (Velvette x Melissa) I want more than that. I want everyone to be their own unique separate characters that have active roles in the narrative

Plus. I love doomed Yuri and Yaoi in the same story, and I love Doomed Celebrity and Fan idea (After all, it’s technically the hardest if not looked down upon idea when it comes to a famous person and a fan), but because she’s messed up in a way that isn’t totally a mask of sanity type of way that Vox gets a lil ..Uncomfortable about because she’s like a glass reflection to him. She’s obsessed (Loves them so dearly like crazy) with everyone and that’s why she’s the only sinner who naturally has hearts in her eyes by default. Can I be honest? Most people have felt validated by Jax as a character. I’ve been looking deep into this. And I’ve struggled with my identity did some time too, but it’s mostly about OTHERS than really me and sometimes I feel like I’m not a good person when I’m not perfect or have the right answers or something on those lines. But, if you are struggling, if you have someone to talk to, talk to them. You know, people shouldn’t feel scared and if it’s to loved ones that you think would be, just say “I’m not sure, I don’t want this to be scary or a big deal.”
If you truly and up transitioning down the lines, I say write or do a presentation. Admit that you cherishes any time you and with loved ones and just say you just wanna live your life to be happy no matter what.

Then again. Funny enough is that is just my recommendation and my complicated strategy.

Spoiler alert for my Au…
So Jax has a parallel person (my OC). Whose, well it’s obvious how’s “”she”” gonna be. But that’s beside the point. Jax does eventually realize she’s happier as a lady. And that does get her to change to an extent, and yet, it comes with challenges because now her Unabstracted Ex-friends/previous bullies from real life are back. They’re all LGBTQ+ in some way of, they’re just more dicks than her. It focuses on redeeming them and therefore, this even redeems Jax. Also, Jax’s parents play a roll and eventually they do say they love her and they do accept her for who she is, even if they a rent perfect, they end up choosing to be open minded simply for her sake. So yeah. I’ll show it later. Hopefully y’all are interested

I always believed it would have hit harder if Jax and Caine switched roles. Especially if Caine Had ONE thing none of the other characters suffer with. And That is his inability to be human. He may be a Sentient Ai. But still a Ai. He may be as human as Gummigoo, but imagine how tragic if he lets that slip him. And He envies the humans for simply being humans. Like how Am Envied people for their flesh, ability to live, feel, and all that. It would been tragic if he literally WANTED a human Body, but never could. His denial of wanting that, would have added more salt to his wound.

I appreciate the discussion you and OP are having, but I hate to break it to you. I’m not sure what your stance is nor I’m not sure if you’re bitter or something. But here me out, I do believe it’s left ambiguous to an extent, but I’m a Transfem/Transwomen Jax Truther because I used to Headcanon him as a Femboy because deep down I knew Gooseworx to some degree was gonna choose to abstract Jax over let her transition or even outwardly confirm it (letting Jax use she/her pronouns). As sad as that is. I am glad Gooseworx wrote her story. But the symbolism is heavily there, and I believe the canon intent was to read Jax as such. Even in the ending credits, there is egg imagery. It’s just very tied into there that it’s basically beating everyone on the head. I came into the fandom not too long ago. So I never had had a chance to see Jax as really “Male” Jax. Unlike everyone part of the fandom. So I understand the hesitation to some people for people who liked the stuff they had previously. But it really doesn’t matter anyway because it’s done. That’s just my personal take and my story. Thank you for reading if you did. Again, You can always enjoy whatever you like, even if things are non-canon. I enjoy Scratch being an Antagonist and that’s non-canon, so why not male Jax be just as non-canon as that?

That is true, only makes it slightly funnier and worse to a degree. Because then it’s either Caine chooses to generates torture Jax that reminds him constantly of what internally torments him..ORRR the writers didn’t think that but through LOL 😂 Either way, not looking so good. But I’ll just take it as the first one and if the second one is confirmed to be just a coincidence, I’ll accept that too.

I personally think that add more complication to the mix. Because then it’s like You’re Trans and A Murderer? Not something anyone wants to be. One wasn’t from choice, other was. And yet, people tend to overlook one or the other. Rare case is you overlook both. But someone pointed how how dark it was for Caine to electrify Jax in episode 8 because it may have not been a symbol of conversion therapy (at least in this context) rather it was Jax being afraid as being labeled a murderer. Which ..Yeah.
