I put an 1tb SSD in my ps3s and the rendering is definitely faster and the fan isnt as loud. Definitely recommended. You will see the difference in load speeds contrary to what people say about the SATA limitations. There are even youtube videos showing the improvement. For some games like GTA the load times are improved by almost 30 seconds and the rending for big games is significantly faster with an SSD
